Ella woke up in her room at her Mama's apartment, she didn't remember coming here. She looked at the clock and on remembering she had school today she wondered why no one had woken her up yet. She figured her mama just probably wasn't used to it yet, this had been the first time she spent the night at her mama's on a school night after all. She went to her Mama's room first and saw that it was empty, the bed was still made.

Ella padded into the living room, figuring her mama must already be up. Maybe she had just let her sleep in. Her mama was a lot less strict on her than her mommy.

When she got to the living room she saw her mommies holding each other on the couch fast asleep, she smiled. If it had been her birthday she would have wished that her mommies would be together like that all the time. She shut her eyes tightly, clasping her hands together and made the wish anyway.

Ella decided that she should get ready for school on her own and she would wake them up later. She found the overnight bag her mommy always carried, brushed her teeth, and changed. She even managed to braid her own hair.

Donning her backpack and gathering her stuff she made her way back to the couch. She poked her mama on the cheek lightly to wake her up since she was closest.

"Wha-?" Yohan stirred, looking around bewildered. As she shifted Billie woke up too.

Billie was wedged between the couch and Yohan, a smirking Ella was standing over them. Billie startled when she saw Ella. Taking in her surroundings, she looked down to see Yohan's arms around her waist. Billie panicked and shoved her a little harder than she meant to as she shot up and Yohan ended up on the floor with a grunt.

Billie gave her an apologetic look before looking back to Ella.

"Oh crap!" Billie said, realizing it was morning. "You're going to be late for school." She scrambled up looking for the overnight bag before she finally noticed Ella was already dressed and ready to go.

Yohan gingerly picked herself up off the ground, rubbing her back.

"Wait, when did you? Did you brush your teeth already?"

"Yup!"

"And your face?"

"Uh huh."

"Who did your hair?" She looked at Yohan questioningly, who just shrugged.

"It wasn't me. I don't even know how. I should probably learn though." She said more to herself than to Billie with a small frown looking at the ground while trying to figure out how braids work in her mind.

"I did my own hair silly," Ella giggled.

"So you're telling me I've been doing all this work this entire time when you can get ready by yourself," Billie said incredulously, because Ella's braid looked flawless.

Ella smiled innocently, "I like when you do it."

Billie looked at the clock. "Crap, we really might actually be late if we don't leave right now, go get your stuff."

Ella pointed at the backpack she was already sporting and the overnight bag next to her.

"Oh. You really don't need me do you." Billie said, a little miffed and kind of a little bit sad about it.

"Nope." Ella said happily. "Bye mama!" She went to give Yohan a hug and a cheek kiss.

Billie looked at Yohan apologetically, they really needed to talk about last night but Ella was going to be late.

"Talk later?" Billie asked.

Yohan nodded at her and smiled.

"Yes, I think we need to."
