Yohan threw herself into her work those weeks that Billie didn't talk to her. Zoe had a friend named Lily who offered to advertise her studio online for her for free. Yohan wasn't sure how she did it but her studio always seemed to be the first hit anytime someone searched photography on search engines and social media. Yohan was sure Lily must know witchcraft or something, that girl worked miracles.
She had also kept in contact with Louis and Harry. She hadn't realized how much of a social media following the two boys had until she sent them their Hawaii photos and they tagged Yohan in it once they posted them, giving her the photo credits. Yohan's studio's social media page gained thousands of followers in seconds.
She gained so much attention from the combination of their efforts that Yohan was confident enough to organize her grand opening for the coming weekend. Drew had suggested they make an event out of it.
Yohan had been reluctant but the blonde had been so excited about it that she couldn't say no. The blonde girl had excitedly helped her with the details of putting it all together, helping Yohan make the studio look as professional as possible and taking charge of hiring caterers and the like for the day of the event.
Yohan had been incredibly impressed with the blonde's efforts. Yohan hadn't done anything like this when she had first opened the studio years ago but the blonde shot idea after idea to her and Yohan figured she trusted the girl's instincts enough to just follow along.
She was going to showcase all her works at the event. In the past, Yohan had made just as much money taking client's photos as she did selling the works she personally took. She was sure there was probably more than a hundred households out there that had some picture of Billie up on their walls.
Yohan hadn't let Drew help anymore after she began putting the new photos up, wanting to see her reaction to the prints during the opening so she was doing the work by herself now.
She was putting the finishing touches in her little hallway gallery. She had decided to showcase the picture of Ella dancing from when they had all visited the studio for the first time. Billie is in the background, clapping happily, gummy smile full force as she looks on. Yohan herself is featured in the photo, albeit more unfocused than Ella and Billie, as she captures herself through the mirror. She decided to place that one opposite from Billie's flower field photo, she printed it out just as big. It covered the length of the wall across from Billie's.
She also added a huge portrait of Ella right next to Billie's. Ella had worn one of the dresses that Yohan had bought her the weekend she took her to the mall when she came to stay with Yohan one weekend. She had knocked on the door and twirled around for Yohan as soon as Yohan had opened the door.
Yohan's heart had gushed so much that she grabbed her best camera and insisted Ella model for her.
The dress was white and flowy and Yohan had spent the entire afternoon giggling and taking pictures as Ella posed for her. She was a natural if Yohan did say so herself.
The one she decided on showcasing was taken from their balcony, Ella held flowers to her cheek as the wind blew her hair delicately into her face. The wilted flowers from the balcony framed the background. Ella had sported a thousand watt gummy smile on her face as her mama snapped the picture.
Ella's photo was so similar to Billie's picture that they looked like twins. Yohan couldn't help but display her two beautiful girls side by side. Her two Babies looked perfect.
Satisfied, she added the rest of the portraits throughout the room.
There were many more of Ella. Yohan had taken to snapping candid photos of her daughter any chance she could. One of her favorites was one where Ella was sprawled on the bed face down and pouting, puffing her cheeks, her head on the edge of the bed.
