Whatever I said about Elizabeth's age and school life, forget about it aha. She's graduated so she's 18. And they live in New York.

kxssmeirwin is added into this chapter! She's the winner of the All Time Low son contest I had earlier!

Elizabeth

I wasn't really expecting to go on a date with Ashton anytime soon, despite the many times that we snuck kisses during our hangouts with Calum and Luke. It was definitely out of no where because he caught me on the roof of the building and insisted we left for the date at that moment.

Luckily that morning, I actually put effort into making myself look presentable. Any other day, I would be in sweats or leggings. I thought I looked unflattering in everything but Ashton and the rest of the boys always found a way to oppose my beliefs.

As Ashton silently hummed to the radio, I recalled the last conversation that we had with the boys about my appearance.

"I look like a saggy elephant in your sweatpants Luke," I groaned, looking into the mirror that hung off of his bathroom door. I was too lazy to do my laundry so I kindly requested a nice, clean pair of sweats.

"Please shut your mouth because you pull it off way better than Luke ever did," Calum snorted. I rolled my eyes at his comment.

"You really do Liz. Luke doesn't have the hips to pull it off," Ashton added, keeping his eyes glued to the game he was in.

"I'm offended guys. You all told me I looked fûcking great in those sweats. I would tell you to give them back Liz but what they say is sadly true," Luke chuckled cheekily, punching me lightly in the arm.

I was snapped back into reality when Ashton pulled into a parking garage in the middle of the city. He grabbed a ticket before pulling into the nearest parking space that he could find.

"What are we even doing in the city Ashton?" I asked as he opened my door.

"It's a surprise silly!"

"I feel like you're winging this," I joked,"You probably have nothing planned for us to do."

As we walked down the sidewalk, Ashton remained silent.

"Wait, was I right?" I laughed. His cheeks tinted red as he grabbed my hand, pulling me into the nearest coffee shop. "Don't worry Ash, I find it cute. It's like an adventure."

We stood to the side of the counter and looked over the menu that hung over it.

"Just get me whatever sounds good," I shrugged, excusing myself to the restroom. He smiled as I walked away and stepped towards the counter to order.

As I finished my business in the bathroom, I washed my hands. I quickly fixed my hair and gasped at the person standing behind me.

"Carrie?" I gasped. I turned around to find my best friend from high school.

I had graduated before all of this drama happened and somehow lost all contact with her.

"Jesus Liz I thought I would never see you again," she squealed, pulling me into a bone crushing hug.

I smiled into the hug and pulled back.

"Me neither. There's just so much shît going on with me and my parents,"I sighed.

"I never liked them. They always reflected a bad vibe and I didn't like it," she smiled. We stood back and stared each other. We both changed tremendously in the previous year. She was a few inches taller than me and her dark brown hair cascaded down her back.

"So why are you here?" I asked, leaning against the sink.

"I'm here to pick up a coffee for finals. College is ruthless," she groaned," what about you?"

"I never went to college. I'm currently on a date," I blushed," he's standing outside waiting for me."

"What about we exchange numbers and we can meet up later after your date?"

We exchanged numbers and I walked out, heading towards Ashton.

"What took you so long?" Ashton asked, sipping on his iced mocha.

"I saw an old friend from high school and we had to catch up."

"I actually have something planned so let's go loser," he chuckled, intertwining our fingers. He dragged me outside and handed me my frappuchino.

"I know I'm super lame and I had no ideas at all but I called Michael so I could be a little less lame and he helped me out," Ashton explained as we walked down the street.

"I suck at these things tremendously so I thought we could go to the pier for dinner and rides," he continued," but then remembered that I had to top Michael's 'date' but I can't afford anything. So I somehow convinced All Time Low to get us into one of their real concerts. So that's what we're going to do."

I squeezed his hand in excitement and dragged him towards the pier. I knew exactly where the concert was because I was dying to go since the Future Hearts tour began.

This was one of the last concerts of the tour and I was surprised we got in on such late notice.

"Alex said to just pick up the tickets and passes at the box office at the front," Ashton smiled, quietly patting himself on the back.

"Thank you for this opportunity. I wanted to see Alex's jumping sweating body in a concert since day 1," I joked, imagining Alex. I wanted to see all of them sweaty but I wasn't letting Ashton know that. He laughed nervously at me as he pulled me towards the box office.

Tonight was going to be unbelievably amazing.
