It had been two days since the hospital visit.

Taehyung was fine and healthy, besides the fact that he was living in another world, there were no complications. That aside; Jungkook's happiness didn't seem to last for long when he picked up the change in Taehyung's behavior when they returned home.

On the first day, he accepted Taehyung's reason that he was tired when the younger hurried to his room upon their arrival. It wouldn't be wise to just assume he was lying, even though he had his doubts.

But now he was getting bothered and worried.

Wasn't Taehyung stuck to his side just the other day? didn't he get jealous when he found him asleep next to IU.

They kissed, they hugged, did he forget all of that, didn't it mean anything. Why was Taehyung suddenly being distant?

Taehyung sat back on his bed after searching under his bed for the nth time, his ring wasn't there. He decided he will go and ask Mrs. Ha.

He made his way to the kitchen where he found her, she was with two other maids preparing dinner.

He was a bit hesitant, because he figured she would end up telling Jungkook about it.

"Taehyung?"

Taehyung looked back to find find Jungkook standing in the doorway.

He had been hiding from him and now he had to think of an excuse before Jungkook starts asking questions.

"I-I just wanted to see what we were going to have for dinner" Taehyung said holding his hands behind his back. Jungkook could tell he was lying.

Jungkook let out a sigh, "Did something happen?" he asked. "W-what do you mean?" Taehyung asked, a bit confused, did Jungkook figure it out that he lost the ring.

"You have basically been hiding every time you see me" Jungkook replied. Mrs. Ha decided to ask the girls to leave the kitchen since it seemed liked the couple was going to have their talk in the kitchen.

Once they were alone, Taehyung moved further away from Jungkook. What if he got angry, everything was fine just two days ago, but he lost the ring, again.

The worst part was that he could not remember where it was that he might have dropped it, what was he going to tell Jungkook.

"Did I do something to upset you?" Jungkook asked, but Taehyung just stared back at him with a worried face.

"Everything was fine just recently, is it my parents?, do you not want to meet them?" Jungkook asked, "no, it's not that" Taehyung replied in a low voice.

"Then what is it?" Jungkook asked slightly raising his voice.

Taehyung flinched a little, "I- I can't find my ring. I am sorry, I have been looking for it, b-but I can't find it. I don't know Jungkookie, I promise I had it and-" Taehyung was trailing off as his voice was getting shaky.

He saw Jungkook let out a sigh, was he angry was he annoyed with him?

He walked closer to Taehyung and hugged him, " 'am sorry" he said. "Hmm?" Taehyung was confused, why was Jungkook apologizing?

"I have your ring, am sorry I didn't give it to you earlier" Jungkook said while still hugging him. Taehyung was still confused as to why Jungkook had his ring, what was he talking about?.

When Jungkook let go, he noticed that Taehyung was still looking confused, understandably so. He had to think of a way to explain.

"Mrs. Ha gave it to me-"
