Taehyung didn't know what time Jungkook returned home the previous day, since he had been avoiding him. He knew it was a bad idea, knowing that Jungkook could snap at him at any moment.

But more than that, he was concerned about how he would have to explain his behavior from the night before. He didn't remember everything, but there were few things that came to memory.

How he kept playing with Jungkook's hair, throwing up in the car and worst of all, running around the mansion when they finally arrived.

Just remembering those incidents made him want to pull out his hair. He knew he wont be able to hide forever, but for now, he was keeping his distance, in hopes that maybe Jungkook would just forget about the whole thing.

Mrs. Ha had repeatedly told Taehyung to simply ask her or the maids if he needed something, that he shouldn't tire himself by going around the mansion. But Taehyung didn't like having to be helped with every little thing, so he would do some things on his own.

That morning he went to the garden to pick fresh strawberries since he was craving some. He washed then in the kitchen, once he was done, he got a glass of water and decided to go back to his room.

He was too focused of how delicious the strawberries looked in the clear glass bowl that he didn't notice Jungkook coming down the stairs.

"Taehyung"

Taehyung pretended not to hear when he almost stopped but decided to keep walking. He figured if he pretended not to hear, Jungkook would stop calling him.

But he was wrong, because his name was called again.

"Taehyung!!"

This time it was louder that it made him flinch. In that moment he was reminded of who Jungkook is, he must have gotten too carried away with how nice he has been to him lately.

Mrs. Ha was supervising some of the girls that were cleaning that part of the mansion, seeing what was happening, she quickly instructed them to stop and leave the room.

With a bowl of strawberries in one had and a glass of water in the other, Taehyung slowly turned around, he could feel his hands shaking.

Jungkook had reached the end of the stair and was now walking towards him. He was dressed in all black, sweats and a t-shirt with his hair in a bun.

He let out a sigh as he rubbed his forehead.

"Am sorry, I didn't- I didn't mean to ignore you" Taehyung said just above a whisper. "What?" Jungkook asked moving a bit closer , as he didn't hear what the other said.

But his sudden movements towards Taehyung startled him that he ended up dropping both the plate and the bowl.

"Hey! what-" Jungkook was equally surprised by what just happened. But he waisted no time to hurry towards the younger who was now surrounded by glass, and  was bare foot.

Taehyung expected a lot of things  to happen, but not what Jungkook did first.

Jungkook swiftly picked him up, making some glass glass fall that had handed on his feet.

"Are you okay? are you hurt?" he asked as he carried the younger over to the living room, Taehyung was lost of words that he just shook his head in response.

Jungkook placed him on the couch and started checking his feet and face for any cuts, since the glass splattered everywhere. "You must have been startled, I am sorry, I didn't mean to shout, I just thought you didn't hear me" Jungkook said.
