You live in Ebott City and you hear a story at the beginning of summer about the cursed mountain next to the city. You wanted to do something exciting for the summer and to you... What was more exciting than going to a mountain with a monster on it...
The room I was in was so dark after I walked on a path made of tiles that looked bright. Whatever room I was in, there was A/C and a sweet smell to it. I was still scared of the dark, so I went on my phone and tried to find a flashlight, but just then I got a call from Alphys, so I pressed the green button to answer it. I wanted to keep looking for the flashlight app on the phone, so I put her on the speaker to still talk to her. I was getting nervous in the dark soon and trying to go back out of the room slowly.
Alyphys-A-A-Alphys here! H-Hey, it's kinda dark in there, isn't it? Don't worry. I'll hack the light system to bring them up.
When the lights came on, I felt better for a moment until I saw it was a kitchen with cameras pointing at it and Mettaton was at the counter.

I heard applause and walked deeper into the room and saw that there was no crowd, but there was a camera crew looking and smiling at me. Speakers were making the applause noise, but I hated being in front of crowds. I tried to run past the room, but I ran into a force field which made a laughing sound happen.
Mettaton-Oh my. It seems my lovely assistant has a case of stage fright. ~ AREN'T THEY JUST ADORABLE AS THEY ARE SHY FOLKS?!?!?!
Speakers-Awwwwww. ~
I felt my face burning up and I could not get out of here, so I turned back to Mettaton.
Mettaton-NOW, ON WITH THE SHOW!!! PRE-HEAT YOUR OVENS BECAUSE WE HAVE A 'VERY' SPECIAL RECIPE FOR YOU TODAY!!! WE'RE GOING TO BE MAKING... A CAKE!!!
I felt so confused and wondered what she was planning. Last time she did a quiz show and said I would get captured if I lose. This can't just be a cooking show. How is this going to help her get me?

Confetti rained down on me while the speakers made clapping sounds, but the monsters behind the camera waved at me with their fingers. I looked down and I remember I just have to play her game and win.
Mettaton-WE NEED MILK, FLOUR, AND EGGS. GO FOR IT, SWEETHEART!
I just got the stuff from the counter behind us and the cameras followed me until I put the ingredients on the counter. I could also see myself on a screen and I saw how red my cheeks were, so I tried to cover them in a way that wasn't too obvious.
