Chapter 1 Part 5: Nandos.

Cassidy:

It only takes 5 minutes to reach Nandos. By now it's 9pm and I'm starving. Ashley has put us in a seating plan, which I prefer. I'm sat by Perri and Terry- I like where I'm sat.

Sadie is sat by Sam and Warren, I can tell shes happy. Being here with Diversity feels so natural, like it should be happening.

Perri sits down next to me and passes me a menu.

"Thankyou."

"So, what spice do you go for? I go for hot, haha!" Perri says holding back laughs.

"Oh I'm really not good with spicy or hot foods, I usually go for plain."

"I think you should try hot - with me..."

"No, I can't. Honestly!" I say with a shocked face which just makes Perri burst out laughing.

Sadie:

Sam talks to me for a while about his relationship with Jade, and how it ended. He's so down to earth its unreal! We talk some more and I explain what dance school I go to and how me and Cassidy got scholarships to go to the biggest dance academy in London. Warren joins in and tells me how himself and his brother started at Dancework and why his brother left after they won BGT. It feels like I'm talking to my friends from school.

"So everyone, lets make a toast... Well done to everyone tonight and we hope that Cassidy and Sadie do well in their dance career!" Ashley says standing up.

"Cheers!" echos around the table.

I order butterfly wings in medium.

Cassidy:

"Pel, no, please! I wont be able to eat it! I swear to God! Pel..."

"...and Cassidy will have the Chicken burger in hot please." Perri says turning around giving me a grin.

"I cant believe you!" I shake my head and look at the table.

"Sorry!" He says with a wink.

"You don't mean that!"

...

Our food arrives and it looks lush!

I reach for the sauce and Perri does the same...

Our hand touch and I feel sparks rising through my fingers, my heart starts beating faster. I draw back my hand quickly and look down at my food.

"Cass? Are you okay?" Perri says touching my arm, I look up at him and I get this urge to kiss him...

How can this be? I've known him for not even a day and I want to kiss him!

I can't, I've locked up my love.

Perri:

Electricity. That's what I feel now. Between us. The light hitting her face perfectly, the glisten in her eye, the lipgloss sparkling on her lips.

I want to kiss her: she wants to do the same - I can tell.

I just look at her and wink, I can't kiss her now- not here anyway. Plus I barely know her...

"Here," I pass her the sauce. "You might need this to stop the burning from the burger!"

She looks down and just starts laughing; which makes me laugh.

I could get used to this.

"We are only here tomorrow, then we go back down to Dancework. How long are you here for?"

"I'm here for a week, we've got passes into the different parks."

"I wish I could stay longer, I never actually get to do anything here other than teach and perform."

"I'd love to do that!"

I can tell how much she loves dance, just by the way her face lights up when you mention it.

Cassidy:

Okay, so the food wasn't that hot, which I'm glad about. I check my phone when,all of a sudden the lights go down and a waiter brings out a cake with a picture of Diversity on it. We all stand up to get a better look at it.

It's still dark, I feel an arm being put round me. I look up to see Perri just smiling at me. He's calming. Makes you feel safe.

We all have a piece of cake for desert and it's really good!

Once we are all finished we get back in the limo and head back to Butlins, Perri whispers;

"Pass me your phone."

"Why?"

"You'll see!"

I shrug and pass him my phone.

He hands it back within a minute. I unlock it to find his number in my contacts. I look up at him to see him putting his hand up to his ear and mouthing 'call me'.

We both burst out laughing, again. It's been such a good night.

Sadie:

We arrive back at out room and just collapse on our beds. We're both so tired.

"Cassidy..."

"Yeah"

We're both lay in the dark looking up at the ceiling.

"I saw you and pel." I ask hoping she answers.

"And, would you like me to tell you what happened?" I can tell that she doesn't want too. She doesn't like talking about anything to do with love.

"Yes please!"

"Okay, we had a 'moment' and now I have his number. But even though I'm really happy about it, nothing can ever happen because Sadie, he's 19 and I'm 15!"

I can tell that Cassidy is generally upset by this factor.

"Look, Cassidy, age doesn't matter, you know that! There's nearly ten years difference between my mum and dad, so don't let that stop you!

I don't really know what happened after this. I wake up still in my dress, I check the time 02:34am. Great. I think Cassidy's awake because her phone screen is lighting up her face. I don't say anything though, and go back to sleep.
