Chapter 4 Part 4: Rehearsals.

Cassidy:

I wake up to the sound of my brothers music.

"Really?!" I say storming out my room.

I burst into my brothers room.

"Seriously Dan? This early!"

Some of Dan's friends are sat on his bed. I forgot that they stayed over. One of his friends looks me up and down. My pjs are shorts and a vest top.

"Nice." He says nodding.

I frown at him. "Shut up!"

"Whats your problem Cass?" Dan says.

"It's early and I'm trying to sleep!"

"You've got to be at the studio in an hour anyway."

I storm out of his room. I go straight into the bathroom and take a shower. Once I've dried myself off I go back into my room. I head over to my wardrobe. It's hot outside and I know that I will probably sweat during dance. I end up wearing my Calvin Klein crop top with my grey nike shorts, I throw on my nike trainers and put my hair up into a messy bun. I only put concealer and mascara on because its only dance.

Once I'm ready I grab my phone and my hype backpack and head downstairs. I drop my bag by the door and go into the kitchen. I hear Dan and his friends in there. I roll my eyes and head straight to the fridge. I grab a yogurt and go sit outside.

"Are you going to the studio today?" My mum asks sitting next to me.

"Yeah! All day!"

"Them boys are so good to you, putting you in a dance and everything."

"I know! I'm so gratefully."

"How are rehearsals going to work if you have school? Because you go back tomorrow."

I groan. The thought of school bores me.

"I don't know. I will probably just go over after school."

"Okay. Have fun!"

I check the time on my phone. I've got 30 minutes- but I'm walking so I will have to leave soon. I finish my yogurt and head back into the kitchen.

"Bye Dan."

"Bye."

"Hey! Aren't you going to say bye to me?" The friend that checked me out asks.

I look back at him, roll my eyes, grab my bag and shut the door behind me.

I stop off at the corner shop and buy myself a big bottle of water.

It takes me about 25 minutes to get to the studio. Sam and Mitch are sat in reception when I arrive.

"Hey guys!" I say sitting down next to Sam.

"Hey Cass!" They say.

Ashley and Jordan are next to arrive. Followed by Ike, Warren and Terry. And last is Perri.

"Sorry!" He says rushing through the door. "Bad traffic."

"C'mon then guys! Long day ahead!" Ashley says heading into the studio.

We run through the dance 6 times before Ashley calls a break.

"Hey!" Perri says hugging me from behind.

"Hey!" I say turning around.

"You look really good, in the dance... and in person!" He says winking.

I roll my eyes playfully.

"Thanks, but not as good as you!"

"Shush you!" Pel says pushing me lightly.

After 10 minutes Ashley calls us all back for a group chat.

"So Cassidy, you start school again tomorrow don't you?"

"Yeah." I say sighing.

"Bad luck!" Jordan says.

"What's going to happen with you making rehearsals?" Ashley asks.

"I will come straight here from school, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I have half days, so I can get here earlier."

"Sounds good." Ash says. "Right lets go again then!" He jumps to his feet.

Everyone gets back into positions to run through it again.

It's 8:30pm by the time that we all head home.

"Want to go to Nandos?" Perri asks.

"Sure! I will just text mum to let them know."

We get into Perri's car and head over to Nando's.

"What time do you have to be home?" Pel asks taking my hand.

"As late as possible! I don't want to go back there."

"Why?" Perri asks.

"Dan has his friends over every night until Tuesday! And one, called Jack, keeps checking me out. It's creepy."

"Do you want me to sort him out?" Perri asks putting his arm around me.

"I'm good at the moment, but by Tuesday I think I will need your help!"

"I'm ready!" Pel says trying to act hard.

We get seated and order our food. We have a really nice time out. It's about 10pm when we get back into Perri's car.

"Lets get you home then!" Pel says winking.

"Thankyou for a nice time." I say kissing his cheek.

He just smiles.

Perri walks me to the front door. I forgot my keys so I knock. Jack opens the door.

"Oh hello beautiful! Good day?" He says smirking. "Who are you?" He says looking at Perri.

"Beautiful's boyfriend." Pel says bluntly.

"Oh right."

Perri kisses me.

"Have a good day back! See you after school."

"Okay, bye!"

I go in and go straight into my bedroom. I change into my pjs and take my hair out of its bun. My curly hair falls down my back. I'm really thirsty so I go back downstairs and get a drink. Dan and his friends are in the living room. I grab a can of pepsi. I go and pop my head around the living room door.

"Hey Dan, where are mum and dad?"

"Oh they've gone out to see a film, Alex is asleep."

"Okay, see you tomorrow."

"Bye."

I hear footsteps behind me as I make my way upstairs.

"Yo, sweetcheeks!" Jack calls.

"Leave me alone." I say bluntly.

"Why are you being so rude?" He says holding my arm.

"Because I don't want to talk to you, and I have a boyfriend." I say back yanking my arm out of his grip.

I slip into my room and slam the door in his face.

"I will get what I want..." He calls from outside my door.

"Yeah. Okay whatever!"

I drink my Pepsi, check twitter and do a follow spree.

After that I turn my lights off and quickly fall asleep.
