Chapter 5 Part 1: My Birthday.

Cassidy:

It's Monday morning again. But this Monday is different! I'm finally 16! My sweet sixteen!

My alarm goes off playing 'It's my birthday.' By Will.I.am. I have a little dance around then I run into my mum and dads room! I start dancing around their room until they get up. They tell me to go downstairs. I run down the stairs and into the living room. On the floor by the window there is a pile of presents. I hurry over to them and sit by them. Everyone comes downstairs to watch me open my presents.

I get lots of really nice presents. My favorites are my best photo out of my portfolio framed and a gorgeous dress from Lipsy. It's baby blue and all the top is diamonds. The skirt part is all floaty and comes to half way up my thigh.

After I've finished my dad brings me in pancakes and strawbs.

I have to get ready for school so I eat my pancakes, say thankyou to everyone then head upstairs.

Once I'm dressed, done my makeup and curled my hair I head downstairs. I go back into the living room and Perri is stood in the middle holding a 'sweet 16' balloon and a present bag.

I run over and hug him.

"Happy Birthday!" He says kissing my head.

"Thankyou!" I say taking the present.

"I want you to open it in the car."

"Okay, lets go!" I say grabbing my bag. "Bye mum and dad! Thankyou!"

We get into Perri's car.

"You can open it now!" He says smiling.

I open the bag and get through the tissue paper to find a little velvet box. I hope it and a gorgeous crystal neckless with 'C+P' carved into a heart.

"Omg! It's so nice!" I fling my arms around him. "Thankyou so much!"

"That's okay! This is what I went out so early to get in New York."

"Wow!" I kiss him.

We make our way up to my school. I got given a badge so people know its my birthday. I get given lots of presents. Sadie gets a picture of us as toddlers at dance and a picture of us teaching with Diversity at Butlins framed with the quote 'to infinity and beyond' printed into the frame.

"Thankyou so much! I love it!"

My day consists of lessons and saying thankyou to everyone for wishing me a happy birthday. At lunch I go on twitter and reply to everyone on there who has wished my a Happy Birthday.

Perri:

Once I've dropped Cassidy off at school I head over to the studio where everyone is setting up a party. We've got her a cake that is a dance floor that's got a moving mini disco ball on it! Its really cool. We are getting all of her friends from school to leave 10 minutes early so that they can get to the studio and get changed. I am going to pick Cassidy up and take her home so that she can get changed because she thinks that we are going out for a meal. Then I will take her to the studio and say I need to get something.

Cassidy:

"Um Miss, I've got to go." Sadie says to our teacher.

"Oh right okay. Anyone else that needs to go, you can go too." Our teacher calls.

"Where you going?" I ask.
