Chapter 3 Part 5: Bring On New York.

Cassidy:

Me and Perri packed most of the night. It was very stressful! I didn't know what to pack at all. At least Pel was here to help. We are both lay next to each other in my single bed- it's a squish, but we make it work. I roll over and rest my head on Perri's chest.

"Morning princess." He says looking down a me. His hair tickling my cheek.

"Morning! I'm SO excited!"

"I know right! Same."

I lean over Perri and grab the tv remote. I turn the tv on and switch it on to Good Morning Britain. I wasn't really paying attention- neither was Perri, he was busy on twitter. That was until I heard:

'Up next is a young dancer called Sadie who is here to spread awareness of her younger sister Brodie's disappearance.'

"Omg... No!" I sit bolt upright.

"What is it babe?" Perri says worried.

"Shh! It's Sadie- on the news. Brodie's gone missing?"

We both sit on my bed in silence listening to Sadie explain the situation. My eyes well up with tears when she breaks down on tv. Why would she not tell me?

Perri puts his arm round me, like he knew what I was thinking.

"Look, she's had alot going on." He nods towards the tv. "She probably didn't have time to tell you."

I sniff into his chest and Perri strokes my head. We watch the rest of the interview. When it's finished I reach for my phone and I text Sadie.

'I'm so sorry about what's happened with Brodie. Here anytime you need me- Just call.xx'

"I'm going to get ready." I say bluntly, rolling over Perri onto the floor.

"Okay, I will too." Pel says locking his phone.

I get changed into my comfy black jumper, grey jeans and light grey pumps. I add little makeup, straighten my hair and grab my bag.

"I'll meet you downstairs." I say closing the door behind me.

I jog down the stairs.

"Mum?Mum!" I say finding her in the kitchen. "Did you hear about Brodie on the news?"

"Yes! I can't imagine what they're going through." She says shaking her head.

Perri comes downstairs and joins us.

"Okay mum. We are going to the shops to get everything we need food wise." I hug her.

"Okay sweetie, you walking?"

"Yeah, get the fresh air!" I say laughing. "C'mon Pel."

"Coming. Bye Cindy."

"Bye Pel."

I shut the door and link hands with Perri.

"You know what I can't believe?" Pel asks smiling at me.

"What?" I say smiling back.

"That your only 15!" I start laughing. "No for really, you seem so much older!"

"I'll take that as a compliment!"

Perri spins me around and kisses me.

"What was that for?" I ask looking down.

"Do I need to have a reason to kiss you?" Pel says with a glisten in his eye.

We carry on walking, it's only a 5 minute walk to the shops from my home. We get stopped a couple of times for photos and autographs- but that's okay.
