Chapter 2 Part 5: I'm So Lucky.

Cassidy:

I sit with Sadie and watch the boys dance, they're amazing. I want to be dancing with them. I can't because my heads hurting- I don't tell Sadie because I don't want to go home. Jordan is teaching them a routine that he created, it's really good, I wish I could choreograph like that.

"Are you okay?" Sadie asks.

"I'm fine." I say ignoring the shooting pain in my head.

"Okay, nice work lads, take a break." Jordan calls out.

Perri comes over and sits by me, holding my hand.

"Hey, I was really worried about you. I was going to drive back down to Butlins."

"You didn't need to do that because I was in safe hands." I squeeze his hand lightly.

He looks at me and smiles.

"I'm lucky to have you..." I whisper, leaning over to him.

He kisses me on the cheek.

"So, was it that Billy kid again?" Ashley says with a sigh.

"Yeah." I say raising my eyebrows. I wince because it hurts.

"Are you sure your okay?" Perri asks looking concerned.

"My head hurts." I say holding it.

"That's a wrap for tonight lads!" Ash says. "See you tomorrow at 12."

"Right, come on then." Perri says pulling me up.

"What?"

"Jump on my back then!" He says bending down.

"Um, okay." I say jumping. "Why?"

"I'm not having you fainting or something whilst you're walking. Lets go Sadie, I'll drive you home."

"Okay, thanks." Sadie says grabbing our coats.

On the car journey home I closed my eyes. I listen to Perri and Sadie's conversation- They think I'm asleep...

"You and Cass really suit each other!" Sadie says.

"I've never wanted to care of anyone like I do for her."

This makes me smile.

"Look, just to let you know, Cassidy vows that she has a lock on her love. She might find it hard to trust and love, like truly love someone. However I feel like she already trusts you, so take care of her."

"Don't worry, I will. I won't let anything happen to her."

We turn into my driveway and my dad answers the door.

"Hi Pel, thanks for doing that." He says shaking his hand.

"No problem, it was my pleasure!" Perri says smiling.

"Look, do you want to come in?" My dad says showing him the way.

"Okay, thanks!"

"Sadie you can stay over if you want, you take Cassidy upstairs, Perri can get the snacks with me." He says patting Perri on the back.

We make our way upstairs.

"When I was asleep in the car earlier, did you tell my mum and dad about me and Pel?" I ask Sadie.
