(Wills P.O.V.)
Chiron had us all gather to the amphitheater. "I have some news. A lightning storm is coming in tonight."
I looked at Nico. At his handsome face. He was so cute. As you can see, I have a huge crush on him. I can't help it. If you saw him when he came back from the battle of Manhattan, you would have fallen in love with him, too.
Nico's face changed from bland, to worried.
After Chiron dismissed us, I walked up to Nico. "Are you okay?" I asked.
He shrugged. "Why'd you ask?"
"Your face changed to worried when Chiron told us about the lightning storms coming in tonight."
"You were looking at me?" Nico asked.
"My gaze accidently went to you," I lied.
He nodded his head, like he didn't believe me.
"So, are you okay?" I asked again. He ignored me. "So you're not okay," I concluded.
He groaned. "Why do you have to interrogate me?"
"Because I'm worried about you. Please, let me help," I pleaded.
"Fine," He said. "I'm scared of lightning storms. Ever since my mom died from lightning, I've been scared."
"What do you do when the storms came before?" I asked.
"I usually hide in the bathroom," he said, then looked away.
"Do you want me to come over tonight?" I offered.
He nodded.
I continued on with my normal schedule. When it was close to the storm, I walked up to Kayla.
"Hey, Kayla. Is it okay if I have a sleepover in a different cabin?" I asked.
"Sure, only if I'm in charge for the night, and you tell me exactly what happens."
"Sure."
"What cabin are you going to?" Kayla asked. I've been worried that this question would come. Kayla is the only person who knows about my crush on Nico. I should have asked Austin instead.
"Hades," I said, barley above a whisper.
Kayla smiled. "If you two kiss, you're telling me all about it."
"We're not going to kiss," I said, even though I hoped we were.
Time came for the storm to roll in. I headed over to the Hades cabin.
I knocked on the cabin door, and it immediately opened.
"Nico?" I asked.
"Yeah?" He called back.
"Where do I put my stuff?"
"On the bed, over there."
I looked at his handsome face. Nothing could compare to it.
"Thank you," Nico mumbled.
"Of course."
He went over to his bed, and flopped down. Outside, it started to pour.
"I brought some games," I said.
"Do you want to set one up on the table over there?"
I walked over to the table. Then, the windows lit up followed by the roar of thunder. Nico whimpered.
I walked over to him. He was shaking. "It's okay. You're safe," I said.
Nico nodded his head, but didn't stop shaking. He leaned his head on my shoulder. Tears were flowing out like a waterfall from his eyes. I rubbed his back.
