24: Persephone

(Persephone's P.O.V.)

It was summer, so I wasn't down in the underworld. I was close to my mother, and looking at all of the amazing flowers. It's my mom's way of spending some time with me.

Suddenly, when I stopped to look at a beautiful flower, Aphrodite appeared out of nowhere.

"Persephone! Persephone!" Aphrodite yelled.

"What?" I asked.

"I need to show you something."

I turned to my mother, Demeter, and she nodded. "Just be back by tonight," my mother said.

I followed Aphrodite into Camp Half Blood. We stopped at the infirmary.

"We should turn into regular campers so we don't look out of place," Aphrodite suggested.

I turned into a young lady, probably about 7. It wouldn't look weird if a 7 year old was sneaking around.

Aphrodite had the same idea, just she looked around 9. She, of course, was as stunning as ever.

We walked into the infirmary, and I saw my step son, Nico, in a bed. He was smiling as a child of Apollo was taking care of him. The child of Apollo, Will I think, made a joke and Nico started to laugh.

"Aren't they so cute together?" Aphrodite asked.

"Definitely," I replied.

"Who is so cute?" Someone asked from behind me. I turned around to see Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon.

"Those two," Aphrodite said, pointing to Will and Nico.

Percy laughed. "Yes they are. I've been trying to get them together for so long. What are your name's?"

"Aphrodite-" she mumbled a few curse words in Ancient Greek.

Percy's eyes widened. Then he smiled. "Hello Aphrodite. Who are you?" He asked, turning to me.

I sighed. "Persephone."

"So, Nico's your step son?"

I nodded.

"Do you want to help me get them together?" Percy asked.

"Sure," I said, then turned to Aphrodite.

"Well, I was just going to show you them. I have other things to do," Aphrodite said, then disappeared.

"Seaweed brain!" I heard someone call from the distance.

"Sorry, I have to go for a minute," Percy said. "Can you start making ideas?"

I smiled. "Yeah, I think I have an idea."

Percy ran off, to a girl with blonde hair in the distance. Her name is Annabeth I think, one of Athena's.

When Will stepped out of Nico's room, I walked in.

"Um, hi," Nico said awkwardly.

"Hi," I smiled. I then got right to the point. "Do you have a crush on that Apollo boy?" I asked.

"W-what do you mean?" He stammered.

"So, do you?"

He looked away. "Yes," he said barley above a whisper.

"Thanks," I said happily then walked out of the room.

"Y-your not going to tell him, right?" Nico said.

"No, I was just curious."

I walked over to the Apollo cabin then knocked on the door. A girl with dyed green hair opened the door.

"Is Will here?" I asked.

"Yeah. Will!"

Will appeared in the doorway. "Hi, what do you need?"

"Do you have a crush on Nico?" I asked immediately.

Will looked at me in shock. Then, the girl with dyed green hair spoke up. "The whole camp knows that," she snickered.

Will blushed. "Thanks..." I trailed off. I didn't know the green haired girl's name.

"Kayla," she filled me in.

I walked off into the woods, and started to set up a date for Will and Nico. After a few hours, it was set up.

Now, time to get the two boys.

I walked out of the woods, right into Percy.

"I've been looking all over for you," Percy said.

"I was setting up everything. Can you get Will and Nico into the woods?" I asked.

"Sure. Where in the woods?"

I lead him to the little spot I set up. Percy gasped. "It's perfect," he said.

He ran off to get the boys, and I went off to my mother. I had been gone long enough. I crossed my fingers in hope that Will and Nico would get together.

(Nico's P.O.V.)

Percy pounded on my door. I opened it after he didn't go away after 5 minutes.

"What?" I asked grumpily.

"Come on," he said.

I followed him into the woods, my hand on my sword. Monsters could easily attack us, and I don't want to be caught off guard.

We approached a clearing, and it took my breath away. There was a table for two in the middle, made out of vines and flowers. There was a stone wall around it, covered in moss and vines. The entrance had an arch made out of flowers, and a little wooden gate. On the table was a bunch of food, pomegranates and apples and oranges.

And sitting on one of the chairs, was Will Solace, handsome as ever. His golden hair flowing in a little breeze. His blue eyes sparkling, a huge smile across his face.

"Hi," he said.

I turned to Percy confused. "What is this?" I asked.

"A date," Percy replied.

My face turned bright red, matching the red roses everywhere.

"Sit," Percy ordered. "And talk. I'll leave now. Nico, don't even think about leaving."

I sat down and Percy left. Will looked at me, his face bright red.

Then, a flower pushed, and I mean pushed, his head so close to mine that I could feel his breath.

I looked into his eyes. Then I decided to close the gap between us.

Our lips connected, and Will actually kissed back. Once I had to take a breath, I leaned back a little bit. After I took my breath, Will put his lips on mine again.

I heard a yes from behind me, but I couldn't care less.
