(Will's P.O.V.)

It was almost Halloween, and the Demeter cabin had grown a corn maze at camp half blood. I wasn't planning on going, but I heard a knock on the cabin door.

I ignored it, wanting to enjoy my off time from the infirmary. The person pounded harder.

Thankfully, Kayla was in the cabin with me. She got up to get it when she realized I wasn't getting it. She talked to the person at the door for a minute before calling my neame.

"Will!"

I got up from my bed, and saw Percy and Jason in the doorway. "Hey guys," I said. "What do you want?"

"Can you come with us into the corn maze?" Percy asked.

"Please Will?" Jason asked. "We got Nico to come."

I perked up a little bit at the mention of Nico's name. I have I big fat crush on him. Thankfully, no one has noticed.

"Fine," I grumbled. I did want to see Nico. I haven't seen him since he came to the infirmary 2 weeks ago. Just when I thought he was finally getting comfortable around me, he runs out of the infirmary when I released him, and decides not to talk to me.

I tried to ignore that. Maybe he can open up to me in the corn maze.

I followed Percy and Jason to a tree by the corn maze. Nico was leaning against it. He looked so cute today!

We walked up to him and Percy cleared his thought. Nico looked directly at me, his dark brown eyes filled with no emotion. His face was blank.

I smiled at him, and he looked away. Then Nico spoke up to Jason and Percy. "You never said he was coming along."

My heart was slowly breaking. Nico didn't want to see me.

"I told you I was getting someone else to come along," Percy said.

"I thought you meant Annabeth," Nico replied.

"Nico, I can leave if you want," I offered. I didn't want to go, but if Nico doesn't want me around, then I can leave.

"No, I didn't mean it like that," Nico said. "I was just wondering why you were here."

I almost let out a sigh of relief. Nico wanted me to come with him into the corn maze. But he could just be feeling sympathy or he might not want to tell me to leave. I decided to go with Nico wanting me to come with him.

I followed Percy and Jason into the corn maze. At first, it was just normal. Until, a hellhound appeared out of no where.

I was frozen in shock. I watched as Nico uncapped his sword, and went to attack. Percy and Jason were probably doing something, but I couldn't take my eyes of Nico.

The hellhound turned towards me, and charged. I tried to avoid, but I knew I was to late. Nico bolted in front of me and everything went black for a second. Then, I opened my eyes and I was in a different  spot of the corn maze. Nico was leaning against me, and he was barley conscious.

Oh, he shadow traveled! I checked his pulse to make sure he wasn't dying. He was fine, but I doubt he can shadow travel again.

Nico looked up at me. But instead of his usual death glare that he gives me, he stared into my eyes lovingly.

I was shocked but didn't let it show. Nico di Angelo was looking at me, like I usually look at him.

I tried to shake it off. He probably wasn't thinking about me.

Then, Nico took a deep breath. "Will, I need to tell you something," he said.

"Okay," I replied a little worried.

"I don't want to die without telling you this," he said.

I looked at him confused. "Are you dying?" I asked. I didn't see anything that was life threatening to him.

"No, but I could die soon. And I need to tell you before. Will, I have a huge crush on you," he said.

I looked at him in shock.

"I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't and you probably hate me now but-"

"Nico, I do to," I cut him off.

It was his turn to stare at me.

"And Will," Nico said. "Percy and Jason dared me to tell you my feelings. I would never be this open with anyone."

I laughed. That sounds about right. "But I thought you were surprised when Percy and Jason dragged me over to where you were standing."

"I was putting off telling you," he answered honestly.

I hugged him. We pulled apart and stared into each others eyes, slowly leaning forward until our lips touched.

Just then, Percy and Jason decided it was a good time to find us. Both of them looked at Nico and I with shock.

Then Percy started to clap, and Jason started to clap quickly after Percy.

When Nico got up, Jason and Percy hugged him. "We are so proud of you," Percy said.

Nico walked back to where I was standing, and we searched around the corn maze trying to find a way out. This time, Nico's hand was in mine.
