chapter 9- can we talk?

Jayden p.o.v.

Last night after sienna asked if I was really her mate I did not know what to do or say. I want her I really do but I don't know if I can be with her. If she can be mine.

I groaned and got out the bed to get ready for the day. As I came downstairs I noticed everyone including sienna was down here. Sienna was stood in my t-shirt with my boxers on looking really good.

A growl escaped my lips before I could stop it at how good she looked. My top was way to big on her making her look even smaller then what she is and even cuter if that was possible.

Clearly seeing me staring at her sienna blushed and looked down.

"Ewww. I am trying to eat jayden so stop staring at her like she is your prey and you are  ready for your meal." Rose said cringing while sienna blushed bright red.

I rolled my eyes at rise when I snapped out my trance.

I walked over to the table and sat down. I starting eating my food while listening to everyone conversation. It wasn't long before my dad thought it would be best to bring up about sienna and her coven.

"So what you doing about your coven sienna?" My dad asked while eating his food like he knows he stirring the pot but doesn't mind one but.

I glared at my dad but he just ignored me and continued to look at a very uncomfortable sienna.

She looked down now playing with her food before speaking.

"I'm not sure. I will have to go back though I know that much." She said sadly with a small smile.

"Why?" Daisy asked.

"I'm the heir and technically I am not the head coven. Kind of like how your alphas are and your future alpha Hunter. Well that's me now." Sienna said.

Daisy nodded in understanding.

"Will we ever see you again?" Rose asked with a mouthful making us all cringe.

However I stiffened at that question. My head snapped towards sienna to see she was already staring at me.

"I would like to think so. Maybe one day." Sienna said looking back down at her food.

Daisy looked sad where as rose looked like she didnt believe anything that sienna said.

"I think you will be around much longer then you think." Rose said with a smirk making sienna look confused.

Before anyone could say anything however there was a knock at the door. My mom opened the door and not long after in walked sarah and Hunter. Sarah had a bag and I'm thinking they are clothes she is letting sienna borrow.

Sarah smiled and said hello to everyone before walking over to sienna and they started talking in hushed voices. I noticed how sienna blushed at one point but I never questioned it to long when I looked at Hunter who was staring st sarah and sienna. He looked defeated.

I walked over to him and sighed.

"Hey man. Can we speak soon." Hjnter asked before I could even say anything.

I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Sure. If you are not gonna snap at any of us. Before we talk though you can go and apologise to my mom for speaking to her the way you did. I wont have that cousin, brother and bestfriend or not. That is my mom." I said coldly because I'm still pissed at him for that.

I could see he felt guilty for that as he nodded his head.

"I will go and apologise to her now. I am sorry jayden I really didn't meant to snap at her like that." He said and I could see he really meant it.

"Do not say anything in front of my dad. He does not know what has happened and how you spoke to mom. If he knew you would be dead right now." I said a little more softer now.

He nodded his head and thanked me before wondering of to find my mom who was in the living room.

As he walked out I looked back at sienna and sarah as well as my twin sisters who was already heading upstairs. I frowned because I know they are all up to something and I know my mom knows as she has a smirk on her face which her eyes looking mischievous.

I sighed and shook my head knowing these girls are always bloody trouble. I wouldn't have them any other way though.

I smiled slightly when I noticed Hunter and my mom walking back into the kitchen and my mom had a smile on her face as she ruffled hunters hair making him laugh and smack her hand away.

He looked my way and nodded making Kennedy back.

"You look more happier now Hunter." My dad said looking st him with a raised eyebrows making everyone stiffen.

I know we were all wondering if he knows. To be honest we should have known he knows because nothing seems to get past my dad.

"Jacob." My mom said warningly towards him.

My dad narrowed his eyes at hunter and my mom before muttering under his breathe.

"Nephew and future alpha or not Hunter. You upset my mate again and I will not hesitate to hurt you in any kind of way." My dad said glaring at Hunter who surprisingly didn't look pissed about someone speaking to him that way. He actually looked more ashamed that he had done it.

If that was anyone else that spoke to Hunter the way they did he would have already had there head before they could finish there sentence.

"I know. Sorry uncle jacob." Hunter said ashamed.

My dad nodded his head and me and Hunter started walking out the room. I could hear my mom scolding him for saying that to Hunter and how there was no need for it especially as they were sorted out. How we all know Hunter never meant anything bad by it and he has never done it in the past so clearly something was wrong. I could hear in her voice she was very upset with him.

"Man, nothing ever gets past your dad does it." He said with a nervous chuckle.

"Nope." I said popping the letter p out.

"He scares me sometimes." Hunter admitted with a shiver making me laugh

"You are suppose to be alpha soon. " I said raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah but your dad is well just your dad. He looks at you like he knows evry little thing even if you have never met him before. It's like he looks deep into your soul." Hjnter said making me laugh more.

"Where is sarah and the girls.?" He asked.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"In sienna  room I think or the twins room." I answered.

He nodded his head.

"Can we go have this talk?" He asked.

I nodded my head yes. With that being said we headed upstairs to my room.
