A Letter to Ezra

Ezra,

I've lost track of how long it's been, how many hours, days, weeks without you, but I feel I'm starting to grow into this whole 'on the run thing'. I hope Ketterdam is nice! From the way Jesper was chewing my ear off about it like a Kerch property guide on the boat, I suppose you're having a decent time of it. There's a part of me that regrets not coming along with you but I know we'll see each other soon. Make sure to send my love to Inej and buy her anything she wants! Please don't get into trouble or I swear I'll set Mal on you when we meet again.

Speaking of which, Mal and Alina are doing well, they may be slightly surgically attached and I end up alone quite a bit but it's given me the chance to explore more than I thought I would have been able to. They seem pretty confident Kirigan is gone but there's something in the back of my mind I can't quite shake off. Not that I'd say anything of course, Lina is the happiest I've seen her in a while and I'd be horrible to take that from her. She's been having nightmares though, and I think he's in them although she refuses to talk about them when we ask.

In terms of my powers and the amplifier I haven't tried out anything more, perhaps I'm too afraid at how it occurred and what it can do. I've only really dealt with blisters and scrapes on the way here, but I wonder what else I can do if healing darkness is in my inventory. I'm sure we can test it out together when we see each other next. I'm sure that will be soon... We've got a plan, one that when we're finished we can all reunite and the Fold will be gone (hopefully).

Jesper's gun has been coming in useful, it's so beautifully crafted it's almost glaringly obvious it's Fabrikator made. Luckily I haven't had to use it on any people yet but I feel like this momentary state of peace we're in won't last much longer.

Anyway, send my love to the Crows and I'll send yours to Lina and Mal. Until next time.

Helloo beautiful people, I've finally finished watching Season 2 (forgive me for taking so long it's been insanely busy) and I'm excited to start on my books. I've decided that for Ada's plotline she'll stick with Mal and Alina for their journey but if you're looking for a book with an OC along with the crows, check out my other book Iniquity.
