Chapter 11

Bailey's pov
Belle was too upset to come out of the room. She wouldn't answer me. So I didn't want to make things worse. I walked over to Kylie and put my right hand on her shoulder, rubbing it and telling her everything will be okay. "She's just different with emotions. She thought I was dead for awhile and just found out today" I said. She nodded back in response. I could tell she was hurting on the inside. She missed Klover. I missed Belle. I missed het with all my heart and wanted to see her again but not here. If I could've warned her, I would've and kept her away from Arnold. Made sure she was safe from him. I would do anything to give her her normal life back.
"You okay Bailey?" Kylie asked softly
I just looked at her, She knew what was wrong but was just being modest about it."It's Belle" I finally budged.
"What about her?"
"I prayed and prayed that I'd get to see her face again. See her smile again. I know we look alike but seeing her face makes me feel in my heart there's still good in this world. I wish I'd never left class that day, I wish I had ditched or was home sick. If it wasn't for me..." I paused, I felt horrible about all of this. I felt like if I hadn't left class or wasn't at school, then we'd all be safe and sound at home.
"Sweet heart, you didn't know this would've happened. And I know if you knew, you wouldn't have left class that day or even went to school, the same thing happened to me too. You're not alone, you never were to begin with" Kylie calmly told me, rubbing my hands with both of hers, "one way or another, we'll get out of here and I'll make sure this never happens to anyone, again."
She stood up, patted my back with one hand and then walked over to the kitchen and cleaned up the mess we had laying about. I could hear Belle whimpering in the bedroom but I didn't wanna disturb her in there. She needed to rest, she's had a lot happen in one day. So I walked in quietly, opened the night stand to my bed, took out my locket she gave me for my birthday, and set it next to hers. Then walked out as if nothing happened.
