Arnold's pov
Morning already. The birds were chirping and the little ones were already up watching there shows. I could hear Brenda's laughter from all the way upstairs. I could tell they were watching there usual. So I got up and went downstairs to make sure things were fine.
Little Brenda had found some graham crackers for her and Brevyn to snack on until I took them to daycare.
I got little Brevyn ready while Brenda was being the big girl I raised her to be and got herself ready. "I'm ready papa!" she'd come in proud, "is Brevyn coming today this time or gonna stay with mommy?"
"He's coming with you sweetheart, she's busy with aunty Belle today. You'll see her later. It's time to go now." I said, giving her a kiss on her forehead.
Brenda was an independent little girl. She wanted to do everything herself. She got in the car herself and tried helping Brevyn too.
They enjoyed car rides. They liked singing along to songs on the radio and dancing in their seats, grooving to the beat. I enjoyed being with them every minute, I just wish Bailey could be trusted enough to tag along. The drive to the daycare wasn't that long but I took my time to have more times with the kids. As I stopped out front, I looked at the kids and looked at how happy they were.
"What are you looking at daddy?" Brenda asked me smiling, showing her beautiful white teeth. "Nothing sweetheart, just have a good day today" I replied.
I put my car in park, got out and carried Brevyn to his class as Brenda skipped to her class with her pigtails falling behind. After dropping the kids off, I drove to the store to pick up some more food for the girls. I wanted them to make it feel like home for them so I bought them whatever they wanted to keep happy. As they always say 'happy wife, happy life'.
