Arnold's pov

I knew the girls would be happier in there a new place in the attic, especially Jasmine and Jessica. I had to go clothes shopping with the little ones, so I buckled them into there car seats and drove to an antique store to see if they had any. As I pulled up into the parking space, I noticed something in the window of the store. I got out real quick before getting the kids out and saw that there were missing posters of all of the girls... I just stood there in shock.. the girls weren't missing, they were safe with me at home. "It's a shame, ain't it?" a man said in a bright red raincoat. I hadn't even noticed it had been raining. "uh yeah it is.." I said, " it's even sadder that I know the girls, me and my team back at the station were working on different cases with these four girls a week or so before they went missing and it's us who are trying to find them.."

"Wow. I hope you find them and have a good day sir" he said as he left inside the store. I just hope he doesn't ruin what me and the girls have, I won't let him, I'm not gonna let him.  I went to get the kids and walked inside, and I saw other ones that would be perfect in my family, I didn't catch their names when we talked but they seemed lovely as ever, they reminded me of the mother. "Is that all sir?" the counter lady said. "Oh yeah sorry, I was just looking at those kids over there, they remind me of mine".

"They're precious, how old are they?"

"Three and a half, and he's only a few months old"

"How lovely, you must be very blessed to have them, you and your wife"

"I don't have a wife anymore, but I plan on it, they're mother died while giving birth to him" I completely lied but it was for the best to keep my family safe with me.

As I left with the outfits, I saw the man in the raincoat waiting outside, I kept walking towards the car faster, and faster until we finally reached it. He just kept watching me as I put the clothes in the trunk and buckled the kids up. I pulled out of there as fast as I could so he couldn't read my license plate. I had to make a few more stops and it was already getting late, it was already 5:35 and the girls were going to make a turkey for dinner so I don't want to be late. I just hope nothing happens to them. Nothing.
