Chapter 20

Bailey's pov

I had to see if Jessica was okay, Jasmine went to see Belle so I might as well talk to the other sister while I can. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you both?" I asked. " Yeah, we're fine, all he did was push us into a van and drove away with us, but can I be honest?"

"Sure, what's up?"

"We wanted to be taken by Arnold, we knew what he's been doing. Well.. we didn't know it was him, we just knew about the kidnappings and the deaths of the girls that had been taken. Our mom is a P.I and she has trackers in us so you'll be safe soon enough, but don't let Arnold know I told you that. who knows what he'd do to me and my sister"

I didn't know if she was crazy or just plain fucking nuts! How was anyone going to find us out in the middle of nowhere? I mean I've been down here for three years, with two kids by this manic and every time a new victim came down here and said something about being free, it was always ruined by Arnold.

"Hello, my loves!" Arnold yelled as he slammed the door open, "did you clean up the body and prepare a bag for me?". I replied, "yes I did for you honey, may we also have some real light in here? It gets dull in hereafter awhile" 

"Sure, since you asked so nicely after I bring the body out back for now, and I might bring Brenda and Brevyn down here too". he grabbed the bag, put Kylie in it and dragged her up the stairs.

"Jessica, I have an idea" I whispered, "but you have to make sure that Arnold doesn't find out, got it?". She nodded back. "Since there's a window that he blocks, we still have materials that can help us out. We can unlock the window, find a stick to tie to a rope and climb out of here if he forgets to close the shade, but if he doesn't, we'll have to find a way to open it back up".  All I could think though is that I might be free, I might have another chance, I'll get to go home and sleep in my warm bed and I'll be safe once again.
