The pair walked into the common room, laughing as Slyvie told a story from when she visited her stepfather and younger sister, only a few months ago.
Gallo walked up to the pair, Ritter next to him. "Good ca-" Gallo begins. However, she grabs his arm and pulls him into the briefing room. She crosses her arms across her chest, a slight bump showing beneath. "Why did you go to Severide and make him transfer me to ambo?"
"Y-"
"Gallo. You know how important my job is to me. You know that I'm not stupid enough to do anything to put this baby in danger. You also know that this is such a low blow. I'm 21 weeks pregnant, Gallo. For gods sake. Do you not know how to have any trust in me? Do you w-" The bells interrupted her, blaring 'Ambulance 61. Cardiac complications. 22 88 West Down Street'
"God damn stupid bells." Y/N begins to walk out of the room, "Just have some trust in me for once, will you? Is that too much to ask?"
