~Y/N's POV~

When I heard those words, my heart sunk, and nearly immediately afterward, the warehouse burst into flames in front of me, "NO!"

I observed the building burn down and Hassan's vehicle escape the scene as a number of other cars began making their way, almost as if time had suddenly slowed down. There was no way in hell I was abandoning the mission, but I acted without even pausing to think. There is no question that they could have died in just a few seconds; they must still be alive. As soon as I emerged from the tree, I slung my sniper over my back, snatched up my knife, and sprinted toward the action. To avoid the vehicles noticing me, I made the decision to rush and pass through the entrance Hassan utilized.

I took use of my surroundings by blending in with the trees and bushes around me. In addition, when I approached the warehouse, there were several crates and other items I could hide behind. I yelled, "Price, Gaz, Soap, where are you?!" as I drew my revolver from its holder and held it up in front of my face as I entered the blazing structure.

As I moved from room to room, coughing from the smoke, I noticed a number of Hassan's men lying dead on the floor. As some of the flooring from above began to burn and fall to the ground, I winced as a ceiling floorboard hit my leg and caused my leg to burn up. I continued, the adrenaline keeping me going as I searched every nook and cranny for the others.

I noticed flashlights and heard shouting coming from outside the building, indicating that the men from the vehicles were getting close. I didn't give up and kept searching when suddenly I felt someone grab my leg. I looked to see who it was and saw that it was one of Hassan's men who was still alive. Without thinking twice, I kicked his hand off and slit his throat. I then quickly grabbed his weapon and patted him for any extra ammo as I continued on. I warily peered around the corner after hearing someone grunt, and there was Ghost. He was moving about behind some of the explosion's debris and yelled, "GHOST!" as if he had been knocked out or something and just woke up.

He turned to face me, and I rushed over to push the stuff off of him and assist him in standing. He added in a low voice that made it obvious he was hurt, "Y/N, what are you doing here?" I quickly replied, "No time to argue, can you walk?"

He nodded as I grabbed his arm and said, "We need to find the others." He wouldn't budge as I started to push him farther inside the structure, saying, "No, they're coming, we have to go." He was correct in what he said; the men were beginning to enter the building. I muttered in frustration as I started to run after turning to look at him and the men coming from that direction. "Come on, let's go!" I said. I barked a whisper-shout at him.

Even though the smoke was getting worse, I persisted, moving only with the help of adrenaline as my only objective at the moment was to survive with Ghost. "We can hide in the mountains because there is too much territory between us and them to be spotted. Then, we'll radio to see if the others are nearby."

Once we were outside the building, I overheard the men talking as they moved in our direction. While pointing my gun directly at the entrance, I dashed behind a barrel, pushed Ghost down next to me, and said in a low voice, "We wait till they go in, then we move."

I counted each man as they passed by, waiting for the sound of no more footfall. The guys went straight by us, hardly even noticing us because they were so fixated on entering the building.

"Okay, let's go," I said as I took hold of his hand and lifted him up as we started running once more. We ran for what seemed like an eternity, yet I stopped after only a short while. We had lots of trees and bushes to shelter us as we moved deeper into this forest-like mountain. As I sat down, I moved behind a bush, dragging Ghost with me as we both took a breath.
