Chapter 10

Your pov

Several days after convincing Ominis to once again be one of my escorts to the yule ball, we had the realization that several of our classes had exams coming up before sending us off to our winter breaks. This is what lead me and Sebastian to be sitting the library cramming for the exams.
"You can't really think this is going to be on those exams." Sebastian groaned as I made him reread a poiton list of ingredients, and tell me where to find them as well as their uses. "I am not going to remember this and the five different plants we have to name, and the history of every magical battle."
"Maybe not but it certainly can't hurt for us to try and shove this knowledge into your thick skull." I said and flicked his forehead, "besides, you wanting to be an auror requires you to make good grades. They don't let just any one into that."
"They must have low standards if Prof. Sharp made it for so long." Sebastian huffed and closed his book, before throwing it off the table. I sighed and stood up, flattening out my robe, before walking over and grabbing the book off the floor. I felt Sebastian's eyes lingering on me and I shot him a look. "I think another problem is the fact my tutor is too hot."
"Oh shut it before I go find Ominis and make him help you." I said and put his book back infront of him. Sebastian caught me by my waist and pulled me close, causing me to fall onto his lap. "Seb-"
"Just a small break." He whispered, leaning in closer and pressing a kiss to my lips. "No one is in here. And maybe I'll be able to study better if I have a reward."
"Your last reward was rather sexual. I'm not sure I can give you one here." I said and tilted my head to the side since he was pressing his lips down my neck anyway. I felt him lightly bite the skin there and I groaned, mostly from annoyance. "If you two don't stop marking me up I'm never going to be able to go out in public."
"I'm tempted to do it anyway." He said as he slowly slid a hand up my thigh, bunching some of my skirt up in his hand. I felt him rub his thumb up and down the exposed skin and I squirmed on his lap. "I want my marks on these two."
"Later, in private." I replied as I felt him grip the skin there tightly. My breath hitched and I laid my head on him as he started to slide his hand up further.
"Why? I seem to recall you liked study sessions that went like this." He teased, reminding me of how Ominis had originally started all of this.
"Sebastian-" I managed to mutter, before hearing a book clatter to the floor. I looked up quickly, jumping away from Sebastian's hold. He looked back quickly and we both finally realized that Garreth had walked up to the top of the library where we were. His eyes were wide and he raised a finger to point, his gaze flicking back and forth between us.
"Merlin, I didn't mean to intrude- I mean to be fair your in the library, but I am sorry." He stuttered out as he grabbed his book and still looked at us like we'd grown more heads. "I guess this also explains why my invitation to the ball was rejected." He laughed, before clearing his throat. "Good for you two, just maybe keep it in private, yeah? Yeah." Ye quickly spun around and started to walk away. I looked at Sebastian and smacked his arm.
"How was I supposed to know?" He asked as he brushed my smack off. "I have to admit, seeing him that flustered does make me laugh. I mean Garreth, being flustered that bad? I can only imagine-" Sebastian caught my gaze and noticed I was annoyed and panicking. He sighed and got up, before sprinting after Garreth.

"I promise he won't tell anyone." Sebastian said as me and Ominis sat on the bed and stared at him. "Don't give me those looks."
"The library, really." Oninis said, before laughing. "At this rate half the school is gonna have you marked as a womanizer."
"I didn't hear him walk up" Sebastian defended himself, before just admitting defeat. "I'll find him again and make sure he knows nothing is to be said about this."
"I'm sure that will go well." I said and laid my head on Ominis. "Definitely can't see it backfiring at all."

Me and Ominis spent the time Sebastian decided to hunt down Garreth by reading for classes. Ominis was well prepared for the tests and wanted to make sure I was as well. I had my head leaned against his shoulder again and listened to him explain concepts he read using his wand.
"Ominis, what are you planning to do once we graduate?" I asked him, curious about what he pictured life after Hogwarts to be like. I had occasionally pondered the idea, but wasn't certain about what I wanted yet.
"I've considered trying to join on as a professor. I don't mean to brag but I am a good student, With a respected name, despite my disdain for it." He said and closed the book his was reading and sat his wand down next time him. "I want something good to come out of my life, and I know being a professor would also annoy my family. Not exactly the high esteem position they hope I have."
"What subject would you teach?" I ask and run my hand over his fingers, I laced mine with his and held his hand. "I can't imagine it's going to be flying, or history."
"I haven't thought that far ahead I'll admit." He ran his thumb over mine, before lifting my hand up and kissing it. "I just hope that in this future we are together. I don't want to be bound by my name, or family. I want more." He paused for a second and started to smile, "I could be persuaded if that family was with you however. I would enjoy a simple life with you, and Sebastian of course. But merlin knows what he plans to do."
"He wants to be an auror." I answer and let out a sigh, "which he'd do good in, if he'd let go of his fascination with the dark arts. Although maybe knowing a lot about them would help him."
"I imagine he would slip up and use them." Oninis said, disdain slipping into his voice. I knew how against the dark arts he was, considering how his parents had used them against him. I squeezed his hand to be comforting. "What about you, what are your plans in all of this?"
"I haven't been able to figure it out." I admitted, "I have tried to think of life after this, but I get scared and confused."
"You don't need to worry. Me and Sebastian won't let you be alone. We'll never have to be alone, and for every time you are confused I will be here to help you. I wouldn't count on Sebastian for sound advice however."
"You have a point there, it probably wouldn't be the best idea."

Hours later, I sat on top of Ominis, his hands wandering my open shirt, his lips catching against mine hungrily. I had tried to convince him making out like this in his dorm room, even if it was empty, wasn't a good idea. That hadn't persuaded him in the slightest, hence why I now was on top of his lap, my shirt unbuttoned to exposed my chest so he could drag his hands all over and feel every inch of my skin. He had propped himself up against his head board so that he could lean comfortably against it and still keep me completely trapped. His legs were raised up to push me forward into me, and his hands clung to me so feverishly I don't think I could've pried him off of me if I wanted to. I felt him slide a hand up my back and latch onto my neck, before he pulled my head to the side.
"Ominis" I breathed out, panting from him little air he was allowing me to get. He ignored me and instead started to leave hot kisses down my neck and chest. His lips brushed the top of my bra and he groaned, reaching up to pull it down so he could kiss where he wanted.
"For Merlin's sake!" I heard garetth shout from behind us, and I whipped my head around. In the doorway to the room stood Sebastian and Garetth, both looking shocked, but for different reasons I'd assume. Garreth opened his mouth to say more, but was quickly cut off.
"Sebastian, Garetth, if you don't close your gaping mouths and leave, I'm going to force you out of here myself" Ominis threatened, moving an arm around me to not allow them to see anything.
"Let's go" Sebastian dragged Garetth out of the room quickly, trying to keep him quiet as he did.
"I guess the cat is out of the bag then" Ominis said as I turned back to him, slightly shaking from my anxiety of being caught. "Hasn't he caught you with both of us now?"
I let out a groan and laid my head on his chest, "yes he has. And I'm terrified of what he's going to do with that information"
        "I guess I ought to apologize to Sebastian, I guess getting caught like this isn't completely his fault if now I've done it too." Ominis said and reached down to start buttoning my skirt up for me. I groaned and threw my head back, annoyed at how easily we'd all been caught now. Why couldn't they just keep it all confined to the undercroft. No one walks in on us there.
        "I think Garreth might keep his mouth shut, depending on how much Sebastian threatens him." Ominis felt my shirt and made sure everything was fixed, "I'm almost afriad to go out there and find out what has happened."
      "Me too." I sighed and went ahead and kissed him again, before getting off his lap and stretching. "Might as well go out there and find out how it went."
       Ominis followed me out to the common room and we didn't see Sebastian or Garreth, so we went out to the hall. Sebastian had Garreth cornered and was staring at him, after what seemed to be a very dangerous conversation. I walked up and glanced at Garreth. "So uh.."
       "I won't be telling anyone I promise." He said very quickly. His eyes shot to Sebastian and I gave seb a glare.
"You need to behave." I said and pulled him away. "Let's all just go about our lives and pretend none of this happened. Right Sebastian?"
"Of course" he said and stepped back, but I could tell he was upset. I wasn't sure it was because of someone catching us, or if something else had been said. "Besides, I have better things to do." Sebastian shot Garreth a look and I suspected there was more going on, but I couldn't be sure.
