Chapter 17

You pov

      Me and Ominis had been enjoying our alone time away from the castle. Here in my family home we didn't have to worry about not acting like a couple. We were free to spend our time together and actually get to express ourselves. The local town didn't know who we were so we were free to go there on dates, as well as spend our time at my home. My mother was in and out of cognitive thinking, so she barely noticed when we came and went. My favorite part of this had to be the fact I got to fall asleep next to him, without it having to be a secret.
        "I still can't believe you were offered a job at that sweets shop in town." Ominis laughed as he laid down in my bed, holding an arm out for me to join him. I crawled in and laid down next to him.
        "They recognized me is all, I used to go in there all the time. And besides, it's no honey dukes so if I did work there it's not like it's going to be that busy." I replied and placed a kiss on his cheek. Ominis slid his hand up to my face and sighed.
         "You know, I'm starting to get a pretty good picture of what you look like" he whispered, his fingers spreading out slightly and drifting down over my lips.
            "I would hope so. You do spend a lot of time touching me" I laugh, but let him keep touching my face since he looked so peaceful while doing it. He lightly grabbed my nose and laughed, before brushing his fingers over my hairline and down to my neck.
            "You feel beautiful, that I can tell." He whispered as his hand drifted to my collar bone and felt of it. "You feel much different than Sebastian or Anne"
             "I understand that you've probably felt of Sebastian, but Anne as well?" I hummed and closed my eyes. "I hate to think that you've been feeling of Sebastian's sister before me."
            "Oh quiet," his hand drifted down to my shirt and unbuttoned it slowly, before he was able to push it off one side of my shoulder. "Only her face. I wanted to at least try and picture what my friends looked like. You let me do this once in third year, if you recall." He teased me as his hand drifted over my body still. "Or did you forget the moment you made me start to have a crush on you?"
       I tried to think back, struggling at first but then the memory hit me.

      "(Y/n), do you think I could touch your face?" Ominis asked me. I looked over at him as we studied in the common room together. I closed my books and turned towards him.
          "That's a bit of a weird question" I replied, and he shrugged at me, a light blush across his face as he got embarrassed.
         "Oh quiet, I just wanted to be able to picture you more. I don't exactly have any other way." He said and I instantly regretted saying it was a weird request. I scored closer to him, my skirt dragging on the floor since we had piled up in a corner to study.
        "Alright fine then. Just don't touch anywhere weird." I scolded him. His hand reach up and felt of my face, lightly grazing over every detail of my skin. He sighed as she be of his fingers brushed my lips and he quickly pulled it away and felt of the rest of my features.
        "You feel beautiful." He said, before blushing and squeezing my nose, "though I would say your nose is a bit bigger than I imagined."
         "Ominis!" I squealed and lightly smacked his shoulder, "don't be so rude." I begged as his fingers moved down to my jaw and felt of it, before moving to my neck.
           "I'm sorry, I just wanted to know..." he said as he felt of my neck. "Can I feel your hands?" He asked politely, pulling his hands away from me and holding both out infront of him.
"Here" I said and place my hands in his. He felt of every inch of them, gently caressing them before smiling.
"At least you can find some solitude in the fact I've never felt anyone's hand as soft as yours. I think even years from now I'd remember it was you just from being able to hold your hand." He told me, before blushing and dropping his hands away. "Well, not like that of course-"
"Oh quiet" I said, mimicking what he had said moments before. "Let's just study some more"
