The same day Taehyung stood in front of Jimin's house, his hand above the doorbell. hesitating to ring. What if Jimin was angry at him? What if he doesn't want to see him?

Maybe he doesn't want to be friends anymore now Taehyung had befriended a siren. Jimin hasn't texted him ever since, taehyung felt like Jimin doesn't like him anymore. slowly he lowered his finger and sighed. But then the door opened and Jimin stood there.

"Are you ever gonna come in or what? you've been standing there for eight minutes already" Jimin said motioning his friend to come inside already. Jimin had seen taehyung arrive and waited for him to ring the bell. But now he had enough of watching taehyung just stand there, so he will invite him in himself.

"sorry... I didn't know if you would want to see me. you seemed angry at me"

"silly kid" jimin muttered and closed the door behind them. "I'm not angry, I am worried!"

"Why are you shouting?"

"sorry, just. I worry for you. A siren is a dangerous creature Tae. i don't want anything to happen to you"

"I will be fine, the siren won't hurt me. He promised! He had only helped me evers since we met. I m serious Jimin, we can trust him"

"You never know Tae, he is and always will be a lying creature that just wants to kill. who knows when he will change his mind and you will become his dinner?"

"I trust him Jimin"

"What do I do with you?" Jimin sighed. They were still in the hallway. "Fine, but promise me you will be careful around him, please Tae. You're my best friend, i would never forgive myself if something happened to you"

"I promise Jimin '' Taehyung said, he can't promise to stay away from Jungkook, but he can promise to be careful. "can you promise me something too?"

"what is it?"

"don't tell anyone else about him, he is afraid to be killed by humans if they were to find out his existence"

"I won't tell anyone, I promise, '' Jimin nodded. "hug?"

"hug '' Taehyung smiled and they hugged each other warmly. When taehyung looked past jimin he saw yoongi stand in the doorway to the living room.

"Finally, Jimin hasn't stopped talking about you, he was worried sick. He thought you never wanted to talk to him again. I'm relieved you two spoke" he said.

"really?" Taehyung looked at Jimin.

"oh, shut up. that's not true" the older mumbled and turned around. When he passed yoongi he gave him a playful smack on the head. "come now, dinner is ready. you can join us"

And Taehyung did. He stayed during dinner and ate with them. They even had a dessert that yoongi brought from the pastry store earlier. they had to cut their pieces to share with taehyung, but that was fine. Luckily the pieces were quite big.

but taehyung didn't stay longer during the evening, he had to go to Jungkook and bring him his food.

"you're leaving early?" Jimin said once Taehyung announced his leaving.

"yea, i have to bring the siren his food, he is unable to hunt for himself currently"

"oh, then I won't hold you any longer. I'm happy you came to visit, I really hoped I would be able to talk to you soon."

"me too" they hugged one last time before he left. On his way out he waved at the two and hopped in his car. He didn't go straight to the beach, he made a quick stop at his house to get the fish from the fridge and then drove to the beach.
