Jungkook was awake now, sitting in the bed looking out of the window, he could see the tall buildings of the city, birds chirping and cars passing. A totally different view than he had in the cave, waking up to a stone wall was less exciting than waking up to the light of the sun and the sound of chirping birds outside the window.

He liked this, the only thing that disappointed him was that the spot next to him was empty. Taehyung already must have gotten out of bed. He wished to himself that he had woken up earlier, maybe taehyung would still be there then. Anyway, Today was another day. with a good feeling he got out of bed and repeated the same steps as last night. doing exactly like taehyung explained to him how to brush his teeth and what soaps to use to clean himself. Jungkook couldnt use too much water or else he might trigger his need to shift back, so he stuck with a small wet towel to clean the parts that needed to be cleaned.

After that he got into the same sweats he had been given, there wasn't anything else that would fit. But he didn't mind, Taehyung said they were going to buy him his own clothes so he would look forward to having something that would actually fit him properly. But first he had to see taehyung, he could hear the other downstairs in the kitchen, so with a smile he walked down stairs. His steps were like water, there was barely a sound. Jungkooks movements were elegant yet strong. It might just be his appearance that was intimidating.

Once he reached the kitchen he halted and looked at the human that had his back turned to him pouring something in a cup. He smiled, he really liked the human. He felt thankful that he could be here with him.

Now he didn't regret going against the siren's rules. He didn't feel the pain of their bites anymore. As long he can be with taehyung like this it was worth the pain and abandonment.

He didn't realise how creepily he looked right now, his hair loosely hanging down his head and strands in his face, his pale skin and eyes making him look like he walked out of a thriller movie. So when Taehyung turned around and let out a yelp, almost dropping the cup from his hand, Jungkook was a bit surprised before he felt guilty.

"Jungkook, what the fuck! dont scare me like that" taehyung said and put the cup down to clean the tea he spilled over his hand and floor.

"a-ah... i'm sorry, '' Jungkook said, feeling bad. He approached the human and grabbed his hand checking if he didnt burn himself. "are you hurt? you're not hurt right? i didn't mean to startle you, i was just-"

"It's fine, silly. it wasnt that hot anymore, "Taehyung said with a slight blush from the gentle touch of Jungkooks fingers that rubbed over his hand. He wasn't hurt at all, but he didn't pull his hand away either. He liked it when jungkook touched him. this gave him butterflies. He wished he would touch him more, on other places too.

He wanted to touch him too.

"Okay...then it's okay"

"You look scary when you have your hair so messy."

"You have to do it for me," Jungkook said, handing Taehyung the brush he had taken with him from the bathroom. "i never did my hair, i don't know how to tie it up like you did"

"oh, sure," Taehyung smiled and took the brush. Like yesterday he brushed his hair back and tied it up, this time in a ponytail, letting he black locks hang freely behind his neck. "There" he smiled and watched Jungkook turn around to look at his reflection in the reflection of the oven door. Taehyung couldn't take his eyes off him, he was so good looking it was almost unfair. But everytime he told himself, Jungkook was born like this, looking like this was part of his way to hunt for food.

But still, how was it even possible? He looked scary and handsome at the same time, still it didn't scare taehyung like it would to others. He liked the unique look Jungkook had compared to humans.
