She had placed her plate in the kitchen before the others got to it. She returned to her spot but stood upon hearing Gandalf and Bilbo.
She walked up, seeing who she now knew, as Ori asked, "I'm sorry to interrupt, but what should I do with my plate?"
From the side comes Fili, who takes it from him, "Here you go, Ori. Give it to me." Her eyes widen as he throws the plate at Kili.
"Excuse me! That's my mothers westfarthing pottery." Bilbo says as they continue to throw the plates.
"This cannot be good." She mutters to herself as she watches on. "It's over a hundred years old! And can--can you not do that?"
She watched Fili passes a cup between both elbows and then to Kili. "You'll bunt them," Bilbo says as Erthril leans against the wall.
"Ooh, do you hear that, lads? He says we'll blunt the knives." Bofur says as the group starts a harmony with the cutlery.
"Blunt the knives, blunt the forks. Smash the bottles and burn the corks. Chip the glasses and crack the plates. That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!" They sing.
She covers her mouth as she smiles, listening to them. "Cut the cloth, tread on the fat. Leave the bones on the bedroom mat. Pour the milk on the pantry floor."
She and Gandalf shared a look as the group continued, "Smash the wine on every door. Dump the crocks in a boiling bowl. Pound them up with a thumping pole."
"When you're finished, if they are whole. Send them down the hall to roll. That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!" They finish with laughter.
Her smile dropped as it all went silent from the knock at the door. "He is here," Gandalf says, making her stand straight.
Gandalf stood and made his way to the door. She peeked over him seeing a dark-haired dwarf with a neutral expression.
"Gandalf. I thought you said this place would be easy to find. I lost my way. Twice." He says as he walks in, and she looks him up and down.
"Had it not been for that mark on the door." He says as he takes his cloak off, and Bilbo walks to them. "Mark? There is no mark on that door."
"It was painted a week ago." He explains as the dwarf looks over at her. She guessed that he was Thorin Oakenshield.
"There is a mark. I put it there myself." Gandalf tells the hobbit as Thorin turns back to them.
"Bilbo Baggins. Allow me to introduce the leader of our company: Thorin Oakenshield." Gandalf explains as Bilbo walks up to the leader.
"So...This is the Hobbit." She sunk herself back into the living area, grabbing her cloth. She clutched it to her chest as she returned.
"You must be Erthril, the lady with the dragon," Thorin says as she returns, seeing the group gone. "I am."
He did not speak again as he went to the dining area. Placed in front of him was a bowl of soup from the dinner.
She stood in the corner beside Bofur. She did not wish to be that close to him as he was intimidating.
