She watched as they made their shelter while she stayed beside Annet. Her sleeping mat is laid next to the now-sleeping dragon.
She smiled softly, knowing Annet felt safe enough to sleep. "Have you eaten?" Balin asked as he carried over a bowl to her.
She looked down at him shaking her head. "Well then, here you go. Can't have you going hungry." He tells her with a smile as she takes it.
"Will she be eating?" He asks, looking at the sleeping dragon. "Most likely not. She has been up since the other day. It's best to let her sleep." She explains, making him nod.
"Well, I'll leave her a bowl out for the morning." He tells her, and she nods to him gratefully. She watched as the dwarf left them.
She sat back down and leaned against Annet when she began to eat. She smiled as if it was not as bad as it could've been.
She put her bowl down after she finished the stew. "Well, that was-" She cut off by footsteps.
She jumped up, seeing Fili and Kili hurrying toward the group. She put her bowl down and ran over. "What is the matter?"
"Trolls. They have been stealing our ponies." Fili explains to her making her nod. "Do you wish me to get Gandalf?"
"We don't need him," Thorin says, walking past her with his blade. The dwarves follow him, but Fili stays back.
"I'm going to get Gandalf." She tells him as she turns back to Annet, who is wide awake.
"Why not just burn the trolls?" He asks, grabbing his blade. "Do you wish to have burnt ponies as well?" She asked him from her spot atop Annet.
"Well, no." He answered, causing her to give him a look. "Go help them! I will be back!" She shouts at him, causing him to run into the fight.
"Orta!" She yells, causing Annet to fly into the sky. "Come on. We have to find Gandalf before they are killed or worse." She says, causing Annet to move faster.
