She sent Annet into the skies, much to Fili's protests. She looked at him, making him cease. She motioned them to follow after the group.
They made their way down the rocks and into the valley. Bilbo broke off from them, searching for the Orcs and their location.
She looked to the sky and then back down to see Bilbo hurrying toward them. "How close is the pack?" Thorin asks.
"Too close. A couple of leagues, no more." Bilbo told him, making her share a look with Fili.
"But that's not the worst of it." He told them as Erthril looked back at him. She felt something cold in her hand.
She looked down, seeing a gloved hand place a dagger into her hand. She looked over to see Fili, whose eyes told her everything.
She nodded as she held it in her hand. She felt the cold air as he retracted his hand. "Have the wargs picked up our scent?" Dwalin asks as Bilbo stands in the middle of them.
"Not yet. But they will do. We have another problem." He told them, but Gandalf stopped him, "Did they see you?"
"They saw you." He said as Bilbo hummed in question. "No, that's not it." He answered, making Erthril smile.
"What did I tell you? Quiet as a mouse." Gandalf boasted. "Excellent burglar material." He said, making them all except for Erthril murmur happily.
"Will you listen? Will you just listen!" He shouted at them before turning. "I'm trying to tell you there is something else out there." He said, pointing back to where he came from.
"What form did it take? Like a bear?" Gandalf asked, making her look up at him. "Yes, but bigger. Much bigger." Bilbo said with confusion written on his face.
"You knew about this beast?" Bofur asks, making her cross her arms. "You wish you were with Annet?" Kili asks from her other side.
She gave him a look making him quiet, and his brother Fili smiled. "I say we double back," Bofur says as Gandalf turns away.
"And be run down by a pack of Orcs? As we do not have Annet." He told them, making Erthril look at her feet. "It is fine," Fili whispers, trying to assure her.
"There is a house..." Gandalf starts making her head lift. "Where we might, uh, take refuge." He suggested.
"Whose house? Are they friend or foe?" Thorin asks, making her look at Gandalf with confusion. "Neither. He will help us or..." He trailed off.
She looked around at the company before hearing, "He will kill us." Her eyes widen as she looks at the sky.
She could only hope Annet had found somewhere safe. "What choice do we have?" Thorin said before they all turned back, hearing a roar.
They all quickly ran through the valley. They ran through a stream and the forest. She could hear the wargs behind them.
She recalled Kilis's words and did wish she was with Annet. "Come on!" Gandalf shouted at them.
She had run ahead of Fili and his brother and most. She wanted to be with Annet, but her thoughts caught up to her.
She slowed herself down and saw Fili and Kili run past her. "What are you doing!" Fili asked as he turned back to her.
"Keep running!" She shouted back at him and ran the rest of the way behind them. On ce they were out of the forest, she could see a brick wall and an entrance.
They all ran inside until she bumped into some of the dwarves. "Open the door!" Gandalf yelled.
She heard Thorin yell and made her way through her group. Thorin, now beside her, they both pushed the bolt up, opening the door.
They struggled to close the door as the bear attempted to get inside. She finally calmed down when the wooden board was over the door.
"What is that?" Ori asks as he turns to face Gandalf. "That is our host." He tells them, making her sigh.
