As you drove up upon the spot, you appreciated the view. Well- not the actual place but- that was nice too. Rolling sand dunes next to a forest, and crashing, crystal blue waves. She parked, her long, tumbling, wavy black hair catching your eyes as the sunlight bounced off soft-looking skin and bright, piercing blue eyes.
"We're here." She said, getting out of the car. She rested an arm against it, watching as you climbed out of the car clumsily, disliking the texture of the sand.
"I thought you hated the beach- Jade?" You asked with a quizzical look, tilting your head.
"I do, but we came here for the woods. How do you feel, about taking a walk in the woods with me? We can look at cool rocks, i know you like those."
"I- I do." You say, nodding hesitantly, a little confused at how she's acting. She took your hand, and you felt warm at the gesture, smiling softly at her. She gave you a warm look in return, tugging you along into the woods, not smiling, but companionable and not rude.
You walked, and walked, until you finally came upon it. A stream in the woods, with a small cabin, and chairs by the water.
"...This is like- every horror movie trope ever- or romance movie-" You say, nervous, but comfortable in her presence enough to just... say things.
"Yeah?" She said in return, smirking, knowing what you were gonna say next.
"This is where they fuck in the cabin, or i get murdered...." You say, tilting your head, tapping your neck in a small motion.
"Well, if we did fuck, you would feel like you got murdered because I'd send you straight up to the clouds." She said with a deep, deep chuckle at your own expense. But in the end, you got daring, and leaned in, kissing her cheek.
But instead of being flustered like you expected, she smirked, and grabbed your chin.
"Such a daring person you are Y/n," she says, before leaning in. Oh god oh fuck oh-. "May I kiss you, bunny?" She asks, seriously, tapping your chin, pausing to give you time to think. And it seems like as soon as you were halfway through the word yes, she leaned in and captured your lips in a small, innocent kiss; but even this took the breath out of you. It felt like a spark jumping between your lips, static, and warmth in your chest. You gently wrapped your arms around her torso in return, and eventually you both stood, swaying in the wind, embraced, held. Your heads rested against each others, yours against her shoulder.
"Welcome to my safe space." She said simply, rubbing your back.
"It's lovely." You said in return, standing still, together.
