Same warnings as always, lovelies.

You both headed back quickly as the rain started up once more, the tranquil moment quickly ruined with heavy, torrential downpour. You both headed back, Jade saying she didn't "want you getting sick and needing her to stay and nurse you back to health" or something like that. You weren't a baby! How could she say such a thing. You sulked in the passengers seat, sipping (f/d) [pick your favorite hot beverage] that she got you to make up for the fact that your date got cut short.
For the first time in a while, when you got home, your mother was awake. She was up in her room, doing online work for her college term, and you could hear the gentle music playing.
You and jade decided to get comfy, cuddling up in your room with snacks, watching movies on your laptop.
Eventually, you got bored of t.v series with realism.
"Jadeee-" You began, giving her puppy eyes.
"What L/n?" She asked, her mouth twitching with a smirk. She knew you had her wrapped around your finger.
"Can we watch cartoons?" You ask, whining at her. She was surprised, kind of, to see the side of you that wasn't so emotionless, but with late-night conversations, she wasn't really that surprised.
"Sure... but you owe me baby... 1 horror movie, and I'll watch your insipid animations." You nodded quickly in agreeance, changing the show.
You both watched and she smiled a little behind your head. You were curled up together, your head on her chest as you both watched cartoons. Your hands curled up, one resting next to your head on her collarbone, and the other to the side, her arms wrapped around you, one hand playing with your hair.
You both sat peacefully, even as she made you drink water, saying something about "Hydrate or die straight" and "You need to drink water." Eyeroll.
You looked so peaceful, even as you squirmed. She let you go, watching you in confusion as you ran to the bathroom, coming back in a few seconds to resume position. You both stayed like that for the rest of the night, and as she eyed your sleeping form, she realized she never did get that horror movie.
It's okay though, you'd owe her tomorrow. She decided to slowly slide out, putting a stuffed animal in your arms which you gripped, snoring softly. She tucked you in tight, before going about her own business, scrolling on her phone for ideas until she went to bed.
You looked so at peace...

You woke up, refreshed, looking down at the empty spot of what was supposed to be jade. You yawned and stretched, slowly dragging your way downstairs, seeing jade make coffee, and... was that your dishwasher running?
"Dreadful morning, Y/n." She greeted , smirking over the rim of her coffee cup as she watched you get your morning drink. You sat and sipped for a minute, before grumbling a 'morning' out in reply.
You both sat in companionable silence, the clanking of dishes ringing out as you had gotten up to make breakfast.
You made some basic meal, putting out the plates on the counter, enjoying the breakfast rice while Jade stared at it strangely, before trying it.
She seemed amazed by the flavor, eyes widening, but facial expression generally unchanging.
"You're a good cook, Y/n."
"...thanks?" You blink in confusion, tilting your head like a curious animal. It was basic, just something you slapped together... but she treated it like it wasn't. It filled your heart with something unknown.
"I'm going to go take a shower." You excused yourself, breakfast cleared from your plate and into your stomach. You put the plate in the sink, hurrying upstairs before she could respond. She shrugged, going about her business.
Later, when you were done, both of your morning routines fulfilled and dishes done by some magic spirit (jade), you both sat in the living room, starting work once more on your project.
You both were a lot more comfortable, your chemistry unmatched as you both practiced the script you both drafted.
Eventually, the rain, having let up for more than an hour, indicated she could leave. You hugged her, said parting words, even got a cheek kiss, and she left, unknowingly leaving a flannel.
You had a mostly peaceful night, even adding the flannel to your bed next, until a thought disturbed you...
"I forgot to ask her to be my partner!" Goddess-fucking-damnit Y/n. Oh well. Guess you'll think about it later. For now, you have some fat Z's to catch, and an incentive of a f/s (favorite snack) to encourage you to use your net.
