~Vance's POV~
It's Monday and I'm thinking of not even going so they can't beat my ass but I do have to see Robin so that's my only reason for going plus I'll just skip my classes or until bruce has to 'Tudor' me again.
The only reason I let Bruce Tudor me is because of Robin, he's a good person and the only person I would feel bad if I made him sad so mind as well.
I turn around from my room and grab a white tank top with a pair of jean's then a scull bracelet Robin gave to me a few years back.
I normally don't wear such things but I need something to distract my mind today.
I grab my headphones and Walkman.
I turn on a song and listen to it as I walk out of my rundown house.
Once again robin is the only person who knows where I live since I keep it pretty hidden.
I only leave when it's dark or act like I'm robbing it by climbing in and out of windows.
Robin always tells me to clean it but if I do my dad will haul all hell on me so I never do.
I come outside the house and grab my skateboard, it's something I picked up after seeing a few kids do it so I decided to try.
I'm pretty good at it and even can do a few easy tricks but it's mainly for riding to school.

As I'm riding along the road I hear chanting and I push closer to it and hear 'fight fight fight' so I shove through the crowd and see Robin
"Fuck yea Robin get him!" I yell and see him flash a small smile at me before hitting the kid one last time and standing up to look at me
"Sup Vance" he says walking to me as he wipes off his knuckles and high-fives me
"Havin fun?" I say as people move out of the way for us as we walk through the crowd.
"Totally and cool board" he says point at it
"Oh thanks" i say as we reach the school and Robin sees finn
"I'll cya later tell me how the day goes" he says before running off.
I groan and walk into the school and straight to a bathroom.
Once I walk in I hear talking and it stops as soon as they see me
"Oh uh hey Vance-"
"Out" I say and they all run out
"They act like damn rats.." I mumble as I hear a stall door open and I turn around
"Bruce?" I say
"Oh hey Vance, you still letting me Tudor you later?" He says walking up to the sink
He's not mad? I'm surprised
"Your not mad?" I ask
"Why would I be mad?" He says looking down at his hands under the rushing water
"Well I punched you in the damn stomach, I would be kind of mad" I say
"I kept pushing like an idiot so it was my fault Vance" he says shrugging as the water stops and he wipes his hands on his shirt
"Well I've got to get to class but I'll see you later-"
"Wait bruce" I say and he turns around confused
"Hm?" He says
"Uh" I dig around in the small bag slung on my shoulder and take out the tree
"For yesterday.." I mumble as he takes it
"Aw thanks Vance this is really sweet" he says smiling at me
"I'll make sure it doesn't break today" he says before walking out
I feel a heat rush to my face

I gave him something as a-a sorry and I've only really known him for like 3 days why the hell am I sorry?

I burst out of the bathroom and start to walk to a back door when I hear somebody yell my name

I ignore her and push open the door then start to jog off.
I keep hearing her yell my name but I just continue to ignore it
Once I'm far enough away I stop and lean over to catch my breath
I cough a few times then stand up
"Damn I am really out of shape" I mumble
I feel into my pocket and my headphones are gone
"Fuck"
Well now I have to go back
I look back and start the long agonizing walk back.
Once o reach the school,again, I see my headphones on the ground and grab them
"Vance you know you like me" I hear
"Holy fuck Veronica no I don't-"
I try to say as I stand up but she connects her lips with mine.

That brings me back to my senses and I shove her off of my pretty hard
"What the fuck?!" I yell stepping back
She laughs "took you long enough"
All I can feel is anger but look up and see it's almost lunch
"I'm gonna fucking-" I almost say but stop myself and walk into the school fuming
"What was that?! Why did it take me so damn long" I say taking to myself

"Heyyy" I hear and I look up glaring
"Vance you alright?" I see it's Robin and I shake my head no
He walks over to me and pats my shoulder
"What's up?" He says
"Veronica that's who"
"Dude she's still bothering you? Even after yesterday?" Robin says and I nod
"Jeez" he says
We hear the overcom asking for me to the office and I groan
"Well we all know what that it" I say waving bye to Robin and starting to walk to the office
I see people staring at me and I glare at them, which makes them all look other ways.
I walk into the office and the lady inside tells me to go inside Parker's office
"Heyyy mr Parker-"
"Sit vance"
I roll my eyes and drop into the chair
"You touched my niece hm?" He says crossing his arms
"She came onto me." I say
"Do you have proof?"
I shake my head "well no but I don't do that to girls, yea I'm an ass but not that bad" I say standing up
"I ain't no damn rapist" i say
"Vance sit down, and I know" he says
"Wait what?" I say confused
"Yea I know your not, she lies a lot but I had to make sure you didn't" he says standing up
"Just as long as you start to go to classes, I won't call the cops and tell them you did" he says
"What?! That isn't fair!" I yell as I stand back up
He pushes me back into the chair and gets in my face
"Vance you have been here for way to long and I can get rid of anytime I'm just being nice so don't miss your chance because I will make you fail high school again." He says moving
I'm as far back in the chair as I can go and still in shock
"Got it Vance?" He says crossing his arms
"I- that's blackmail" I say
"Yes yes it is, see Bruce is teaching you something" he says
I feel my anger starting to fall over so I get up and leave.
"Vance! Get back in here" he yells
I ignore him but the new cop dude in the office grabs my hands from behind and shoves me back into the room
"Hey get your nasty ass hands off me!" I yell and I shove him off as he pushes me back into the room
"Vance" Parker says squatting to my height
"I can ruin you at any moment." He says as he stands back up and I feel the cop step on my back harshly making me let out a groan

"Just know this Vance" he says
I look up at him and furrow my eye brows
"Harder" Parker says and the cop presses harder making me groan out in pain
"I'll always be able to do this so behave" he says before swatting his hand and the foot comes off my back.
I stand up and can hardly stand straight
"Fuck you" I say as I walk out holding my back.
I hear him laughing as I fling open the door and slam it as I leave.
