(A week later)

~Bruce's POV~
School starts back up today, they closed for a bit since vance was found.
I keep getting odd looks as I walk through the halls when I hear chanting from outside
I walk out and see Robin beating the living shit out of a kid on the ground where I look closer and see Vance with a blood nose and black eye who's also kicking at another kid
"Holy fuck" I say walking closer and into the crowd of kids cheering for them
Once Robin and Vance back off, the kids leave and the other two run off
"Hey Bruce" Vance says
"What the hell happened?" I say looking at them both
"Kid punched me so I broke his nose, no big deal" Vance says as Robin grins
"I think I broke that kids arm" Robin says as Vance high-fives him
"I- alright then just go clean up you look like shit" I say.
"And brush your fucking hair it's nasty" I say as Vance and Robin start to walk off and I get two fingers at me from both of them then hear them laugh
I roll my eyes and walk to class
I walk in as the bell rings with more weird looks
I glare at them and they look away.
Ever since I got closer to Vance at school people won't bother me as much, not like they did before but still
I sit through math class,ignoring what the teacher is saying since I already understand it and stare out the window
I end up zoning out and come back once class is over
"Bruce yamada, your needed in B hall" the teacher says and I get up grabbing my bag
"Ok" I say walking out
I walk to the B hall and see some kids
"Hey do you know if any teachers needed me or-" I say and as I look away I'm met with a punch to the side, which makes me fall back
"The hell?-" I say before a kid jumps on-top of me and pins me down
"Just because your friends with Vance doesn't mean we can't beat you till you can't speak" they say smiling as I pull on my arms but I'm met with hard punches to the face and my head.
The last think I remember is hearing yelling and the pain stopping

(Later)
I open my eyes and it's really bright
"What the..?" I say as I hear somebody talking
"Bruce..Bruce" I hear as my eyes adjust to the light, I see vance and Finny
"Finn? Vance?" I say
Vance looks away for a second and then back down at me
"Thank god your ok" I hear finn say
"I- what do you mean I'm ok? I was in hall B like 20 minutes ago" I say sitting up but Vance pushes me back down and that's when I see his face
He's got a black eye,a busted lip and a dried bloody nose
"What happened to your face Vance?" I say and he looks at me
"Nothing" he says grabbing a mirror
"Your pretty bad though" finn says as Vance slaps his arm
I grab it and look at my face which looks awful and I can't feel it
"Why can't I feel any of this?!" I say
"Pain meds and the kid who did this is talking to the cops right now" Vance says
I put the mirror on my lap and look around to see that I'm in the hospital
"Your parents are here too, there just outside" he says looking away
"But seriously Vance, what happened to you"
He sighs
"I got the kid off you"
"How" I say
Finn looks at Vance and nods
"Just tell him" finn says
"Tell me what?" I say
"Just tell me" I say again looking at vance
Vance meets my gaze
"I uh might of stabbed him..?" He says
"What?!" I yell
"Where?!" I yell again
"His side" vance says awkwardly smiling
I groan and fall back
"I'm not sorry though, fuckin kid had it coming" he says
"Vance I don't give a fuck what he did you don't stab somebody!" I yell
Vance stays quiet before his face turns to anger and he walks out of the room
"Sorry bruce he's mad right now" finn says waving his hand
"No it's fine, where Robin?" I say
"Talking to a doctor" he says
"Ooh" i say
"But your face is going to need some time to heal, would you parents be able to or?" He says standing up
"Probably my parents" I say shrugging
He nods and leaves as my mom walks in
"Baby!"she yells running up to me and grabs my face
"Ow ow ow let go" I say as she looks at me with a sad face
"I'm so sorry this happened" she says letting go then sighing
"Your friend you know" she says and I look at her
"Which one?" I say
"That blonde boy he found you"
"Vance did? I though Robin did?"
"No he found you, he told me that he carried you as fast as he could to the nurse and was frantic until he knew you were ok" she says
"Really..?" I say
She nods
I hear the door open again and a doctor walks in
"Well hello Bruce! We hear something happened to your face and it should heal pretty fast so don't worry" he says
"About a week of this cream on the cuts, your eye should go down on its own and besides that just try to stay calm till your fully healed" he says and I nod
"Thank you" I say as he walks out and Vance walks back in
My mom looks at him then kisses my forehead before leaving
Vance walks to me
"Sorry I got so mad earlier" he says
I look at him and grab his arm tightly
"Why did you come to find me?" I say
He looks at me then his face gets covered in blush
"Because I would do it for Robin and finn so I did it for you"
I let go and smile
"Thank you Vance, really" I say
He pulls his hand away
"I- I gotta go" he says walking out
