~Bruce's POV~
Vance has been silent the whole time we have been sitting in the cops office
He looks like he feels nothing and I wish I could help.
The cop says he can get us a doctors appointment and get him checked out for meds to help with his freak outs
I feel like that will make him happy but also mad since he hates anything from doctors
But he needs it.
The cop was talking to him but he wouldn't even make eye contact with him or me
"Vance you need to answer him" I say
"No" Vance says
"Come on Vance he needs to know what was happening-"
"My fucking dad grabbed my hair and I got mad ok?! Shut the fuck up bruce!" He yells standing up then sitting back down while hugging the hoodie
Which is mine may I add I just left it at his house
I sigh
"Well I guess that's what your getting" I say
The cop nods
"I can try to work with that" he says starting to type.
"He might be bipolar with the mood swings" the cop says
"He's not,he's been tested" I say
"Oh" he says
"Has he for the r@pe?"
Vance looks up and glares
I nod
"Yea he had that's how he or we knew he was" I say and Vance looks at me "shut the fuck up bruce it never happened"
"I know, it didn't happen" I say as I wink at the cop and he nods typing again

Later that day we finally got to the doctor and vance still hasn't said much
He just cling onto my sweatshirt and stared at the blood on it
I've tried to take it but he slaps me away every time
The cop I found out his name was kast McAlester
"Hey kast?" I say as we're driving
"Yea?"
"How did you know about Vance?" I say
Vance is asleep on my lap listing to music off of Kasts headphones
"Well I was the one who shot Ethan or as you two know as the grabber and I was the one who ran up to him first" he says
"Really?" I say and he nods
"Yea I didn't see him go to the hospital but I did make sure he was ok" kast says
I nod
Well atleast he didn't think Vance was crazy
We get to the doctors and kast gets out as I wake Vance up
He looks at me then back down while he takes the headphones out
"Bruce?" He says
"Hm?" I say
"When this is over can we go see Metallica? I wanna listen to their music" he says
"Uh I can find a day that there playing at the bar and sure" i say smiling and see him crack a small one before getting out

It takes forever but once we're called back they talk to us and Vance about the things that happened or atleast what he'll tell us.
They give us an anxiety perception for 2 pills a day, one when he wakes up and one before he sleeps.
We leave and the cop drops me and him off at my house with the pills so it's pretty late now.
"Ok vance here" I say handing him the pill
"I'm not taking it bruce." He says crossing his arms
"Vance come on you could actually go to jail if you don't start taking these" I say and he groans and grabs it from my hand
He pops it into his mouth and swallows
"Happy?" He says
"Yea open your mouth so I can make sure you didn't just push it under your tounge"
He groans,opens is mouth,moves his tounge then closes
"See?"
I smile and peck his forehead
"Thanks vance" I say standing up
He blushes lightly and lays on my bed
"I'll be right back I'm gonna go shower ok?"
I see him nod and I walk off to the bathroom
I walk into the bathroom,start the water and as I'm taking my shirt off vance comes in
"Jesus fuck- vance what the hell" I say turning to him
"Oh shit- I thought you were in the other bathroom I'm sorry" he says before walking out
I sigh then actually take my clothes off before getting in.
I wash my hair then body
Once I'm done I get out and walk back to my room where vance is asleep on one side of the bed.
I smile as I walk to my closet and grab some pajamas
I put them on then go lay next to vance
"Night vance" I say as I turn the light off
I get a mumble back as I put my head down

(That morning)
"Bruce wake up!" I'm woken up too and open my eyes to see my mother standing over me
"Oh morning mom" I say sitting up
Thank god I didn't lay all up next to vance last night
"Good morning, I've got toast downstairs once your both up" she says smiling
She was let out of the hospital yesterday and hates feeling like she can't do much so this is how she says she's ok,making food
I sit up and look over to see vance still passed out
"Vance wake up" I say shaking him
He opens his eyes
"Already? I just fell asleep" he groans
"Yea so get up" I say getting off the bed
He groans again
"Also take another pill" I say
I turn around and watch him pop it into his mouth
"Ook" I say turning around and he walks up to me before hugging me from behind
"Holy hell your bare back is so fucking warm" he says
"Vance carful my mom could see this" I whisper and feel him nod
"Yea yea one more second" he says and I chuckle
He lets go and smiles at me
"I don't think I have anything that would fit you so I would just wear what you had yesterday" he slowly nods
"Can I use one of your sweatshirts? The zip up ones? There nice" he says
"Uhhh sure they should be over there" I say pointing to my closet
He nods and walks over to them, then comes out wearing another brown one like yesterday
"You like the brown ones? I'm kinda surprised" I say
"Hey there nice and brown is a good color" he says crossing his arms
"Yea yea" I say
I grab a brush from next to my closet
"Ok let me brush your hair again"
He groans and plops onto the floor
I walk behind him and start to brush his hair
"See not as bad as it normally is" I say
"I'm almost done actually" I say
"Really?" He says
I nod my head as a response and walk out from behind him
"Yep"
He stands back up and puts it in a ponytail again
"Your hair looks good like that" I say as he walks closer to me and grabs my hand
"I can wear it like this more often if you want" he says closer to me ear
"Please do-"
I hear my mom cough and Vance drops my hand
"Uhh hey mom this is not what it looks like" I say pushing vance back
She walks into my room and closes the door and when I'm ready to get yelled at she
Hugs me?
"I'm proud of you" she says
"Wait what?" I say
"I could tell from the minute I met him that you two were hopefully going to get close" she says
Vance just moves back
"So your not mad?" I say
She stops hugging me "why would I be mad bruce?"
"Well you know" I say pointing to me then vance then back to me
Vance then lifts his shirt up
"And uhm" he says as she looks
"I didn't expect you two to go that far yet but Bruce I don't mind on the other hand though your father does" she says and I nod
"Yea I know that" I say
"We'll come downstairs the foods done" she says smiling as she walks out
Vance walks back up to me and grabs my hand again
"Can I uh?-"
I grab his neck and pull him into a kiss
I break it then smile at him as I walk downstairs
He covers his face then walks after me
"Morning Bruce" my dad says as we walk down
"Hi dad" I say sitting at the table
Vance sits next to me and my dad watches him
Vance grabs my hand under the table and I hold it
"How did you sleep Vance?" I hear my dad ask
"Uh it was fine, bigger bed then normal though" he says
"Oh why's that?" My dad says grinning
"Well I'm not as well off as you two" he says sorta laughing
My dad just stares at him "why's that"
He stops
"I just- don't have a lot of money"
"So your using us?" He says
"What? No no nothing like that" he says
"Yea dad he's not he's just a friend that I made first" I say
My dad glares at me then goes back to eating

I look at the clock and stand up
"We gotta go but I'll see you when I get home" I say waving to my mom
Vance gets up after me and gets his shoes on as well
Once we walk outside he looks at me
"Why is your damn dad so pushy?" He says
"I have no clue he's just like that" I say
He Shrugs
I sigh as we already start seeing the school
"Don't let your mind go berserk today alright?" I say and he nods
"Yea I know" he says
He walks off and I see him go off with Robin
"Alright I'll be good now he's with Robin"
I walk off to my friends
Bill,mark and jack
There all friends from baseball and not the best guys but still pretty funny
"Hey guys" I say jogging up to them
"Hey Bruce" mark says
"What took you so long?" Bill asks
"Oh I walked again" I say
"Really? That sucks" bill says
"It's not too bad I've been walking with-"
"Vance hopper we know,we see it" mark says
Jack is normally quiet do him just looking At us is normal.
"Did you know that there's a rumor going on that Vance is dating this girl named Leya? And that's the reason he has so many hickeys" bill says
Yea not the reason but good it's not me
"That's weird" jack says
"I know!" Bill yells
I laugh a little as we hear the bell and all run inside
I look back and see Robin and Vance just slowly walking in
Well I have him on pills so whatever I'll just Tudor him like before.
I run to my first class and get inside right before the teacher does
"Good morning class welcome to math" she says
I sigh as I take out my notebook

(After class and at lunch)
~Vance's POV~

"Vance dude, what does Bruce have you on again?" Robin says
"Anxious stuff? I don't know" I say
"I just know I haven't felt mad all day" I say shrugging and Robin stares at me
"Dude that's good!" He says smiling
"Yea?" I say
"Yea! You were always angry" Robin says as he stops and looks behind me
"Hey Vance?" I hear a girl say
I turn around
"What"
"Quit telling people that we're together" she says crossing her arms
"I'm not that's a rumor" I say
"Well the hickeys aren't so they think it's true so just make it stop it's hurting my popularity" she says
She walks away and Robin looks at me as I look back
"Are those-?!" He smiles
"Yes but we here high ok so shut up" I say
Robin smiles and slaps my arm
"Hey hey quiet ok? We promised not to talk about it" I say
Robin rolls his eyes
"Fine but look at this" Robin says tugging down his shirt to reveal bite marks on his chest
"Dude you asshat" I say laughing
"What jealous I can talk about them?" He says laughing letting go of his shirt, covering them back up.
"Whatever Robin" I say
I see Bruce walking over and I wave, it takes him a second but he smiles and waves back at me
I look back at Robin who's turned around while talking to finn and I roll my eyes then shove another bite of samwhich into my mouth.
