~Third POV~
The boys get to the ring and walk in.
Vance won't stop picking at his fingers as they walk through, to there areas with there names written on a board that has crossed out names before there's.
"Hey look, there's my name" Robin says pointing to an older, scribbled out name.
"Pfft they spelled your last name wrong" Vance says
"It' says Alejandro not Arellano" Robin says after crossing his arms
"I'm totally calling you Alejandro now" Vance says, Robin shoved him in response with a laugh.
"Whatever"

(Around an hour later)

Vance is standing next to the stall with Robin next to him
"And our next person up..Robin Arellano" the man over the speakers says.
Robin smiles at vance
"I'll talk to you later" he says slapping Vance's shoulder and jumping up onto the fence,where inside the bull stands pushing against the men holding it in place.
Vance stands holding his hands behind his back, then slightly shaking.
Vance listens as the announcer yells go and the gate where Robin is flys open.
Vance sighs and walks closer to get a better view.
"Cool ain't it?"
Vance looks to his side
"Uh yea" he says before rolling his eyes and looking back at Robin who's getting thrown up and down but not falling off.
The guy next to him taps his shoulder
"Cmon talk to me, either you know him or you like him" he says pointing to Robin
Vance scoffs
"I know him- now leave me alone." He says looking back
He hears the guy scoff as well and turn away
Vance sighs and watches as Robin gets thrown off and stands up pretty fast, with a slight stumble as he runs to the gate again.

"Holy shit! Did you see that?!" Robin yells, jogging up to vance
"Hell yea I did"
Robin laughs and slaps Vance's shoulder
His laughing comes to a hault though pretty fast
"Hey Vance"
"What?"
Robin points behind him
Vance turns around and looks at the guy staring at him
"Oh, he's just being a dick because I wouldn't talk to him while you were out there"
Robin nods
"Makes since, just watch your hat"
Vance shrugs as Robin says this
"Yea yea I know"
They hear another name called and hear a gate swing open.
Robin looks through the small metal bars to watch.

(5 minutes later)
Vance's name is called.
He can't walk to the gate
He dosent wanna move
"Vance come on!" Robin yells while sitting on the gate
"Hell no I ain't doing this" Vance says about to walk away before someone shoves him forward
"Come on, if you can hold on then your fine"
Caleb says
Vance groans and climbs up the gate and sits down.
His hands are shaking
"Don't let your hands shake, just calm down you'll do fine"
Vance grabs the ropes,ties them around his hand and the gate swings open.
He immediately grips onto the ropes tighter and puts a hand onto his hat.
"Fuck-" he mumbles to himself as he's thrown up and down just like Robin was, he can feel the dirt hitting his eyes and his boots hitting the sides of the bull.
He holds his hand tighter as he feels like it's been sped up.
He closes his eyes as he grips onto his hat
"What the hell am I doing"
"Don't be such a pussy Vance, you've done worse then this" he hears in his head
"The hell?"
Vance just heard Bruce, but Bruce is at home
He can't be hearing bruce
"Come on, put some effort in"
He opens his eyes with a groan and tightens his grip before pulling the ropes up, making the bull run in a different direction.
His hand feels like it's going numb
He's gonna fall
He just got confidence
Why now
Shit
His hand slips
He flys backwards and falls onto his back
He lets his hat go
Once his back makes contact with the ground, his eyes fly open.
Pain shoots up his back and into his head
He groans and sits up before he's pulled to his feet and ran off to the side.
A smaller gate opens and he's pulled in before it's slammed shut.
"Vance? Ay look at me"
He blinks and looks at Robin
"Shit- my hat-"
"Your hats fine how's your head?"
Vance groans as he's sat down
"It hurts like hell"
It's quiet- well not quiet but they all stop talking
"Did you have fun?"
Robin slaps Caleb's arm, vance just realizing he's there.
"I mean yea" he says with a shrug
"Told you"
Vance chuckles
Finn jogs over to them
"I recorded that for Bruce, that was a hard ass fall by the way" he says
Vance rolls his eyes
"No shit"
Robin laughs a little before going to finn
"Wait" Caleb says
Vance,Robin and finn look at Caleb
"What?"
"Vance held on longer then you Robin"
Robin looks at Vance then the board
He steps forward and looks at the names
Robin Arellano - 0:10.6
Vance hopper - 0:11.3
Robin turns away and walks off
"Shit Robin I'm sorry-"
Finn shakes his hand at vance
"He's fine, give him a minute"
Vance sighs
He stands up and walks to where robins standing
"Ay I'm sorry I didn't even really realize that I was still holding on-"
"No no it's fine it's just that it's your first time and you held on longer then I did."
Robin scoffs and looks away
Vance grabs robin's shoulder but is immediately shoved off as Robin walk away again
Vance looks up when he feels a tap on his shoulder
"What Caleb-"
He's spun around and before he can react he feel's something press against him.
