Chapter 4

Sasuke POV:

When I walked past Naruto's office, I saw him staring down and tears falling down his cheek.

Was he crying?

I would go in and ask if he was alright if I wasn't called in to the boss's office.

When I walked back to Naruto office, he had already started working but he was a little red by the eyes.

I then thought I could help him a little.

I went to the coffee machine and made Naruto some coffee.
I knew he liked it with sugar so I put it in and walked towards his office.

I knock on the door.

"Come in!" he says in almost a breaking voice, I hear him clear his throat.

I walk in.

"Hello." I say and see his eyes widen as he looks away from me.

"Hi" he says, a little low.

"I made you coffee." I say and put down the cup.

He looks at me with teary eyes. He wipe the tears away and put on that grin I loved.

"Thanks!"
he says and sips his coffee.

"It's even sugar in?
You remembered?"
he says and looks at me surprised.

"Of course I remember" I scoff. He looks at his mug and then at me.

"Sasuke, I'm sorry."
He says and his voice breaking .

I sit down on a chair in front of his desk.

"For what?" I ask.

He looks down at the mug.

"I made your life a living hell. Now you are trying to be nice to me and I feel so bad" he says.

"you don't have to worry, Naru." I say. He looks up at me with tears in his eyes.

"You made my day much brighter. Have you ever seen me laugh with someone else then you? Have you even seen me talk to someone else?" I ask.

"You did not make my life hell. You made my life like heaven on earth" I say and see tears leaving his eyes.
He wipes them away and chuckles.

"I remembered that time we went on that date at Ichiraku, when we had only dated for one year" he says and sniffles.

I smile at the memory.
It was a good date.

"I liked that day" I say and he smiles.

"Me too, it was a good date" he says and laughs a bit.
I laugh too.

"I missed you too. I really did."

Naruto confesses and takes my hand.
I felt my cheeks get hot.

"But I need a little time, if it's okay with you"
he says and I smile.

"Of course. I will be waiting here." I say and he smiles widely.

"Well, I should get back to work." I say and stands up.

He has a disappointed face as he looks at me and puts his mug on his desk with papers.

"Okay." He says.

I walk to him and stop when I am right in front of him and hug him.

He hugs me back and I feel tears coming to my shoulder.

"Dobe, you don't have to cry now." I say and hear him chuckle against my skin.

"Teme" he says and I feel my eyes get watery too.

It was so long since he called me that.

We broke the hug unwillingly and I walked back to my office.

I wave at him and he waves back.
Then I am out of his office.

I am so happy I got to talk to him now.

Naruto POV:
I'm happy he came.

It reminded me of old times when he came and made me coffee to make me feel better.

I do wanna make it work, I want us to get together again but, I need to think about it.

I still have feelings for him but what if I hurt him? What if he loses interest in me and leaves me for a girl?

The thought of it scared me to death.

"Stop it, Naruto! Focus on work!" I said to myself and started working.

(AFTER 7 HOURS)

I was finally done with work!

I took away all the papers and put them all in a pile in my office.

It was a kind of boring job but I at least get good enough money to pay my rent.

"Have a good weekend, Uzumaki!" my boss says and waves.

I nod and take my stuff and was about to walk out when I bump into a familiar person.

"Dobe, look where you're going." Sasuke said and chuckled.
I blushed.

"S-Sorry. Aren't you going home?" I ask.
I hear him sigh.

"no not yet. I have to do some more paperwork" he says.

"want me to keep you company?"

Just kidding! Also I am sorry again if it is going too fast or something like that.

I did have a plan for this story but I didn't really expect my mind to go crazy when I wrote haha.
