13- State Comp and What the...

*Amy's POV*

I was at state competition with Annie and the Coral Girls. I got involved in her team because I wasn't a level higher when I quit. So I competed with Annie's team. Annie was 13, and some of the girls were 14, and I was still 15, so...

I was nervous. My family and the Bratayleys were watching me there. I was supposed to be the bars winner.

I stepped on the trampoline and jumped to the first bar. I did my full routine and then landed. Everyone clapped for me.

Then, at the ceremony

'And, for bars, level 8 gymnasts, our second runner up is... Avalon Green.' The emcee said, and my rival Avalon went up to the second place. I crossed my fingers behind my back.

'And, bars first place runner up is... Amy Barlow!'- The emcee announced. I went up to first place and they put a gold medal around my neck. I saluted with a huge smile on my face,and the competition concluded. My mom and the Bratayley's came to congratulate Annie and I, as well as Liv's family and Coach Mary. But, surprisingly, Caleb wasn't there. I slipped a hoodie over my leo and went to look for him. I heard voices behind the bleachers. I took a look and I couldn't believe it. Tears flooded my eyes and I couldn't emit a sound.

Caleb was kissing Avalon Green.

*Caleb's POV*

The meet was over, and I decided to makr my way to Amy.

'Hey Caleb wait up!'- I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Avalon.

'Yeah'

'I saw how you were looking at me during the meet.'- She said, all sassy and flirty.

'Um. I don't know what you're talking about. I was looking at Amy. Amy Barlow'

'Oh, don't be silly I know you like me'- She said, and grabbed my hand.

'Let.Me.Go! I have a girlfriend!'-I yelled. She, suddenly, pulled me in by my shoulders and kissed me. I didn't return the kiss, of course. But, I heard someone crying. I looked.

Amy.

She ran away, crying.

'AMY, THIS IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS! LET ME EXPLAIN!' I screamed, running after her. I turned back to Avalon.

'You, are a bitch. No wonder no one likes you'- I told her, and ran after Amy.Oh Gosh, this was gonna be hard
