31- Plans, Plans, and More Plans.

A Few Days Later...

*Caleb's POV*

I entered my house after a day of work. It was fine, I guess. I opened the door and the smell of food was invading the house. I walked to the kitchen and Amy was there. 

'Hello Amy'- I said. Amy turned around.

'Hi Caleb'- She smiled and kissed me. 

'Smells good, what are we having?'- I asked. 

'Cheese and bacon burgers'- She smiled. I smiled back and made my way to the living room, to find my two children. Riley was in the floor playing with her barbie dolls, and Luke was sitting in the sofa, with the tv turned on in a hockey match and he was texting someone. 

'Hi daddy'- Riley said, looking at me. I kneeled to her level to kiss her cheek. 

'Hi there honeybee, how was skating today?'- I asked. 

'Good! We learnt a new jump and my coach says im the best at it'- She said happily. 

'Must have taken it from your brother'- I said, looking over at Luke. He was smiling. 

'Hey there son. Why are you so smiley?'- I asked, going behind him. He quickly shut his phone off. 

'Hi dad. And nothing.'- He said. 

'Luke who were you texting'- I asked, smiling. I wanted to know. 

'I know who he was texting.'- Riley said. I saw Luke trying to make her shut up. 

'He's texting Julie'- She said. Luke looked defeated as he plopped down again in the sofa. 

'Julie, huh... who is her?'-I asked. 

'Just a friend. She is new to the school. Her brother plays in my hockey team.'- He said. 

'Just that? Is she pretty?'- I asked again. 

'I guess...'- He said, turning a shade of pink. 

'Dad, she is SUPER pretty'- Riley said. Luke smiled at her. 

'You, young lady, are in serious trouble. get over here right now!'- Luke said, smiling, and began chasing Riley around the house. Riley ran and ran, laughing. 

'LUKEY NO! DON'T!'- She screamed. Luke picked her up and began to tickle her. 

'LUKE STOOOP!'- She laughed. Luke stopped and laughed. Riley was smiling at her brother. 

'Okay, I will stop. If, you give me a hug.'- He said. Riley gladly hugged him. I smiled. 

Such wonderful kids I had. 

(AN: I absolutely LOVE the brother- sister relationship between Riley and Luke. It's super cute)

*Luke's POV*

(the next day at school)

I was about to leave for school, and I was having breakfast with my mom. Suddenly, my phone received a message. I looked at my phone and saw mom overlooking. I didn't care. The message was from Brock, a friend of mine. 

Brock: heyyy, heard u r asking the hyland girl on a date today. good luck mate

Then, a couple other messages from other friends. 

Piper Heart: hi luke everything is planned already? it will come out great dont worry

Haas (Hayes): the day has come! good luck bro she loves you i swear

Jake: heyy good luck today 

Faith Mellans: hey good luck with julie out there today! everything is already planned. 

Yes, a lot of my best friends knew. The only girls were Faith and Piper, as they had helped me out on planning the whole thing. I was asking Julie on a date. 

My mother looked at me. 

'You're asking someone on a date?'- She asked. I looked at her rather nervously. 

'Yes. Don't tell anybody. Not dad or Riley. Please.' 

'Of course, Luke, I would never. Well, who is she? Where are you taking her?'- She asked curiously. 

'Julie Hyland. The new girl. We're going to the fair and then a picnic on the hills after hockey practice. The guys and Faith and Piper helped me plan everything out.'- I explained. 

'Okay, I hope it turns out good!'-She smiled. 

'Thanks, mom'- I said, and hugged her. She hugged me back. Soon, Riley came down the stairs. 

'Riley, let's go'- I said. I brushed my teeth really quick and fixed my hair. I hope it turned out good. 

'Bye mom!'- I yelled. We grabbed our things and left. 

A few minutes later, I was in front of my class room. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around. Hayes. 

'I am nervous.'- I simply said. 

'Don't be. I was the same when I asked Tiffany out. It's no big deal'- He said. I built up my confidence again and entered the class room. I quickly spotted the brown hair. I went behind her and tapped her shoulder. She turned around. 

'Hey Julie'- I smiled at her. 

'Oh hi, Lukes!'- She said, and quickly hung to my shoulder and stood on her tip toes to kiss my cheek. Okay. that happened. I again looked at her. 

'Do you... want to go on a date with me?'- I asked. She remained quiet for a few seconds. 

'I would love to'- She said. 

'Okay, pick you up at 7'- I said. She smiled. I went to my friends. As soon as I reached there, I sighed at let myself fall into a chair. 

'Pheeewwwww, finally'- I said. Hayes and Brandon laughed. 

'See, it wasn't hard.'- Hayes said. 

'Besides, she kissed you cheek, we all saw that'- Brandon said. I smiled at him and laughed quietly. 

I couldn't wait for the date. 

(AN: Hey! so, as you know, Caleb and Amy had a song when they were teenagers. Their song was Goodbye to Spring. Any suggestions on a song that Julie and Luke could have in common?
