37- Wake up

*Julie's POV*

I woke up the next day, and I was sitting on a chair. My head was on Luke's shoulder, who was soundly asleep in the chair next to me. His eyes were still red and puffy, what could've meant that he could've stayed up crying while I was asleep.
I looked over at Riley. She was still unconscious. Her little arms had IVs and needles introduced in the wrists, and a respiratory mask was on her face. The heart monitor was still beeping, at a normal pace. I guess we fell asleep with the sound.
I felt Luke shaking. I looked over at him, and he was still asleep. He clutched my hand tighter every second. He began sweating and shaking fiercely.
'AAAAH!'- He screamed, waking up. I inmediately pulled him into my arms, as he panted and cried into my shoulder.
'What happened'
'It was a nightmare. It was horrible'
'What was it about'
'Riley's monitor went blank and she died'- He said. I hugged him tighter. Then I looked into his green eyes.
'Luke. That won't happen. Riley is a warrior. She will wake up, and go over the surgery. She will be okay'- I said. He struggled to put a smile on his face and then pressed his lips to mine. I smiled as I returned the kiss.
'You're awesome, Jules'- She said. The heat rapidly rushed up to my cheeks. I guess he noticed, because he kissed the top of my nose making me laugh.
'You're my beautiful prima ballerina'
- He said, and I sat back on my chair as he wrapped his arms around my back.
Suddenly, moving. We both sprinted up from the chairs towards Riley to see that she was opening her eyes.
'SHE'S AWAKE!'-Luke screamed. He sprinted off to fetch the nurse while I tried to keep her awake.
'Riley! Riley can you hear me?'
'Julie?'- She asked in a whisper.
Riley was awake. Now everything was going to be alright.
