60- Butterfly Fly Away

*Luke's POV*

'Ladies and Gentlemen, now, for our special performances of the day, please welcome, Luke, Megan, Faith, Brandon, Jake, Piper, Hayes, and all the class,  performing "Footloose"'- Presented Megan. Julie watched in awe as we entered her dance room in pairs, prepared to dance. 

The dance went out perfectly. The partner stunts were awesome, and so were the cheerleading ones. Everything came out just like it had to be. 

We ended in our respective poses, and Julie had her hand over her mouth to hide her astonishment. 

'When... How... did you do all of this?'

'We started like three weeks ago'- Piper said- 'Did you like it?'

'Like it? Please, I LOVED it!'- She laughed and we all went to hug her. But there was another surprise waiting. 

'And now, for the last performance of the day, please welcome Luke LeBlanc, joined by Faith Mellans, singing "Butterfly Fly Away"'- Megan presented again. Faith and I walked to two stools that were placed in the middle of the room. I put my guitar over my leg and began strumming the first notes of the song. I signaled Faith to start singing.

You tucked me in, turned out the lights

Kept me safe and sound at night

Little girls depend on things like that

Brushed my teeth and combed my hair had to drive me everywhere

You were always there when

I looked back

I knew what this song was about. For everyone of us in the room, the song was about how she gave everything in her friendship with us. But to me, it was more than that. The song represented all she did for me in our relationship. And it was a whole lot. She helped me, and made me feel better, a better person. 

I started singing with Faith. 

Caterpillar in the tree

How you wonder who you'll be

When we finished the song, Julie was crying. Everyone clapped and cheered, but she just seemed to cry. Faith and I went to her. Faith embraced Julie in a hug, and she hugged back. Then, it was my turn. She looked at me, and pulled me closer to her. I wrapped my arms around her waist as she cried in my shoulder. 

'Thank you'- She said to my ear. I pulled apart and looked at her face. 

'Everything for you, princess'- I said. She laughed and, in a matter of seconds, she had grabbed my shirt and pulled me into her for a kiss. I smiled and kissed her back. She pulled apart and wrapped her arms around me. I kissed the top of her forehead. We heard our friends awe. We turned at them with smiles on our faces. 

'RELATIONSHIPGOALS!'- Hayes screamed. Piper laughed at him. 

'Please, Hayes, You and Piper are even more lovey-dovey than us. At least in public'- Julie said. Piper and Hayes turned pink, and we all laughed at them. 

'Okay, alright, it's true.'- Hayes finally admitted.-'But we have a whole morning to spend, so LET'S GO BOWLING!'- He said, and we all got out of the house to go to the bowling alley.

Several hours later. 

Julie and I arrived to her house when it was already dark outside. We went through the door and found Julie's parents and Keith waiting for her. 

'Happy Birthday, Julie!'- Her mother said, and they all went to hug her. They gave her her gift, a practice tutu and special dancewear from the Abby Lee Dance Company. She was more than excited, and more than grateful. I stayed with them for a while, and then I had to leave. Julie walked me to the front door. She closed it behind her and we both were outside. 

'Thank you for the best fifteenth birthday I could've asked for'- She said. 

'Please, it was nothing'- I said, and flashed a smile at her. She ran her hand over my arms, making me shiver. She did have those effects on me after all. 

'It was everything'- She said, before pulling me in for a hug. She pulled apart and looked at me. 

'I love you, princess'- I said

'I love you too'- She answered, and we kissed. 

'G'night, birthday girl'- I said. She kissed my cheek. 

'G'night, Luke'- She said, and closed the door behind her. I walked home, and thought. 

I think we actually were Relationship Goals.
