*Luke's POV*

By the time winter came around, Julie and I were already dating. Riley, who was jealous at first, managed it very well, and she actually loved Julie. Like one day, that she was so happy with her.

It was a Saturday morning, and I had just woken up, and I was stranged not to find Riley sitting in the kitchen with mom.

'Hey, mom, where's Riley?'- I asked. She looked out the window.

'Look out'- She said. I looked, and saw Riley ice skating in the frozen lake outside our house. A tall girl was next to her, helping her. I looked at them, and suddenly realised.

'Is the girl Julie? What is she doing here?'- I asked my mom. She smiled.

'Why don't you find it out by yourself?'- She said. I stood up and made my way outside. Riley and Julie were skating in sync to a song, with a whole routine made up. Riley made a jump, and Julie laughed and clapped.

'Good job, Riley!'- She said. When they heard the door close, they looked my way. Julie smiled at me.

'Oh, Hey! I've been waiting here to take you to hockey'- She said. I went to the edge of the pond and she kissed my cheek slightly.

'Did I sleep too much?'- I asked. She shook her head. -'Anyways, I didn't knew you skated'-

'I used to skate when I was little'- She said. I made a confused face.

'And... where did you get your skates from?'- I asked. She giggled and looked at her feet.

'These aren't mine. They're yours'- She giggled. I looked down at her feet and saw she had my old hockey skates on.

'Oh, I see. You, are in big trouble'- I told her. She laughed and held Riley's hand and skated away. I ran into the house and sprinted past my smiling mom, and quickly put my skates on, and grabbed three hockey sticks and a puck. I sprinted back outside. I threw the things on the ground and began skating behind Julie in order to catch her.

'No! Luke! Stop!'- She screamed. I got to where she was and pulled her back by the waist. She laughed. I noticed Riley looking at us.

'Who said you were safe?!'-I asked her, and began following her. I reached her and picked her up and twirled her around, being extremely careful not to hit myself with the blades of her skates.

After that, we played a hockey match, Julie and Riley versus me. It was fun. I won. After the match, Julie, Riley and I got ready and left for hockey practice.

Julie stayed there the whole time. She smiled at me a few times, and, after practice, she left with her brother. I went back with Riley to our house.

'So, how do you like Julie?'- I asked Riley as we walked. And, as soon as I asked the question, she let out a complete monologue of how amazing she was.

'She is super fun! She taught me how to skate, and dance, and she buys me candies. And she is super pretty. And, you look very happy when you're with her'- She said, and, then her head went down a little.

'Riley... what are you thinking about?'- I asked. She lifted her head to reveal tear stained cheeks and red eyes.

'You... are never this happy when you're with me'- She whispered in her 5 yeared old voice. I stopped in my tracks and so did she. I kneeled down next to her.

'Riley, of course I am very happy when Im with you. Im even more happy. You're the best sister I could have asked for, never forget that, okay, baby?'- I said. She looked at me and I wiped her tears with my fingers. I reached for my front pocket and took out a piece of Riley's favourite candy and handed it to her.

'Thank you, Lukey'- She smiled. She hugged me and I hugged her back, and we continued walking.

Gosh, I loved my sister. She was my little perfect guardian angel.
