Chapter 2

Several of my friends were already at the party including Sebastian and I'm assuming Ominis somewhere, though I did not see him right away.

I approached a small group of girls that included Natty. "Look at you!" she said twirling me around before giving me a hug.

"Yes...look.at.you." I heard boom from behind me.

I turned to see Garreth Weasley as he wrapped his arm around my waist. "Someone's jealous" he whispered into my ear with a smug smile nodding across the room.

I noticed Sebastians body language change, grow stiff as he did. Why did he seem so bothered by Garreths attention? Since when did he give a shit who talked to me.

"I'm not interested Garreth." I hissed pushing his arm away.

"Yeah? Well You say that every year and yet somehow still mange to end up between my sheets at some point, so why don't we just skip the games this year huh?" He drawled with a smug grin.

"Shove off Garreth, she said she's not interested" Natty glared grabbing my shoulder.

He rolled his eyes at her "see you later then y/n." He winked at me as he walked away. I noticed Sebastian's eyes flick to Garreths as he walked past him before landing back on me scanning me up and down.

What was he looking at?

"What a prick." Natty said handing me a cup. Pulling my attention away from Sebastian intense stare. "Drink this." She shouted over the growing music.

I took a sip and nearly choked spitting it back out. "What the fuck is this?" I yelled leaning into her.

"Dunno, but I already feel it, So it must be good! bottoms up!" She announced with a smile as we both chugged the transparent green, swirling liquid at the bottom of our glasses.

This was more than just alcohol, it had to be a potion of some kind mixed with liquor. A haze of confusion and mild hallucinations started taking over.

The lights became brighter and staggered around the room and I felt the music like it was flowing through me, or in me? Things started moving in slow motions like waves with my breathing and a completely euphoria set in. "They're calling is snake venom" I heard a familiar voice call out beside me.

I wrapped my arms around him kissing his cheek. "Don't let her have too many of those!" Ominis shouted at Natty with a smile, as I started to grab another.

"This ones not for me, drink up!" I slurred pressing the cup to his lips. He resisted only for a second before finally drinking the liquid I had consumed only moments ago.

I watched as the normally tense and stoic man lost a great amount of inhibition right before my eyes and I started to dance closely on him.

"Bloody hell." He muttered with a smile grabbing on to my hips. He looked good and I had minimal control of myself right now. Sebastian approached us with a less than thrilled look on his face.

"What In Merlin's name has gotten into you two?" He said grabbing my arm slightly tighter than I expected.

I reached out for another glass and held it out to him "snake venom." I spoke softly in his ear causing his jaw to clenched and roll under my breath as I danced with Omimis.

"Come out and play Seb." I taunted biting my lip and he took the drink from my hand.

All evidence of whatever annoyance he had seconds before quickly faded as he felt the same sensation take over him. The lights strobed around us and music pounded in my head as I pulled both of them onto the dance floor.
