YN POV

As I lay tossing and turning in my bed at Hogwarts I can't help but miss the feeling of sleeping next to my boys in a much better bed. Truthfully, I didn't know if I would be sleeping much at all the rest of this year without them.

I thought about sneaking into their dorm but the prefects had been cracking down a lot this year.  It was one thing to be caught out in the halls, but in the boys dorms? I'd be in a world of trouble, and if my trio lost slytherin anymore house points I feared we'd all end up at the bottom of the black lake courtesy of our pissed off housemates.

I huffed rolling back and forth a few more times. "Would you knock that off!" Imelda yelled sitting up in here bed. I sat up as well grabbing my pillow and hugged it in my lap as I met her scowl.

She rolled her eyes at me "ugh, don't look at me like some pathetic puppy." She sighed.

I didn't respond in fear of annoying her any further, it was a I lent for another  moment before she huffed staring at the ceiling "I'm already awake so you can talk about what's bothering you, or knock it the Fuck off so I can go back to sleep." She continued to my surprise.

All though Imelda wasn't really a friend she was one of the only people semi aware of my situation and as cold as she could be, didn't seem to be passing judgment on it either. "Well, what's your choice?" She sat up starting at me. A smile crept into the corner of my mouth as I quickly shuffled over to her side of the room.

She rolled her eyes at my eagerness but I was dying to talk to someone about it and she seemed to be the best option.

I sat crisscross at the foot of her bed. Looking up at her with that same smile. "relax, I'll make you go back if you make this weird." She said crossing her legs as well. And she could try to deny it but this was girl bonding and I'm pretty sure I saw a faint smile flash on her lips as well.

"So, how was it?" She asked my cheeks flared up at her question. I thought back for a moment remembering the weekends, how their lips felt on mine, their bodies pressed against me, a shiver ran down my spine at the memory.

"It was...perfect." I said with a smile in an attempt to not divulge too much.

I continued talking to Imelda about the Boys for what must have been over and hour, she was surprisingly easy to talk to. I then notice here eyes begin to narrow in at me, What had I just said that would cause her face to contort that way? Her finger slowly lifted pointing toward my shoulder. "What the hell is that?" She said turning my attention to where she was fixated.

"Oh! I had nearly forgotten about you." I chuckled lifting up the small bowtruckle.

I reached him out towards Imelda nodding my head at her motioning her to take him. "go on say hello...He won't bite." I insisted, placing him in her now hesitantly open hands.

"What are you going to do with it?" She asked as he danced around between her fingers. "I have a place I need to take him... tonight preferably." I replied glancing down at my watch.

"Go, I'll cover for you." She assured handing me back the bowtruckle. She was head girl, there was no one to cover for, unless the headmaster himself decided to come looking for me at this hour, but the sentiment was nice either way.

I got off of her bed and reached for my clock slipping the bowtruckle into the pocket. I took a few steps over to the door and held my wand up to begin a disillusionment charm "be careful." Imelda said as my body disappeared from her view.

Be Careful? Imelda was surprising me on many levels these days. Maybe we were growing into friends after all. Or at least friend adjacent, but I'd take it.
