YN POV

I rushed after Sebastian as the hot sticky summer rain began to fall. "Sebastian wait!" I yelled after him finally able to grip his sleeve.

"What the hell was that?" I said stopping him in his tracks.

"I don't know! I just- I can't listen to him talk about you like that, I never could." He said as the rain ran through his messy curls down his face.

I could see in his eyes he was frustrated with himself, with the anger he was capable of. "Garreth is a jerk, nothing you do is going to change that." I said touching his shoulders lightly with my hand.

"Then why do you sleep with him?" His eyes narrowed down on me as a pit grew in my stomach.

"Why is it my sex life is always the one being questioned? i have said NOTHING watching you sleep with practically every girl you interact with, you think I enjoyed seeing either of you with other girls? It crushed me! made me wonder why I was just a friend, why neither of you seemed to want me back. Well, You want to know why I slept with Garreth? That's your fucking answer!" I seethed shoving him back slightly.

"Asshole" I huffed under my breath.

"Oh I'm the ass? He says the most vile things about you, did you know?! For two years now I've heard him discuss every inch of you in vivid details, the things he's done to you, I've been defending you! I can't stand to listen to it!" Sebastian yelled back at me.

"I don't need you to protecting me! I've told you that! I'm a big girl Sebastian I can handle myself." I shouted frustration with him pouring over me as hard as the rain.

"Well I can't handle it,because I love you and I'm not going to let someone sit and degrade you right in front of me!" He yelled back.

"You love me?" I chuckled exasperated with him and watched his eyes fix on me.

"Of course I fucking love you. I've been in love with you for two years and I didn't think you felt the same." He said stepping towards me.

"Well then you're the biggest idiot I know." I scoffed. He grabbed the back of my head pulling me in swiftly for a firm passionate kiss.

"You are the most frustrating person I have ever met." I said pulling away from him hitting him in the chest.

"Yeah?" He sighed lifting her head looking up into the rain letting it poor down his face. "Right back at you."

Wet footsteps approached us and I turned to find Ominis drenched holding a bottle of fire whiskey. "Can we go now?" He called out through the storm with his arms out to his side. I rolled my eyes at Sebastian and we all made our way to the floo station.

The warm glow of candle light welcomed us in to the small feldcroft cottage. It looked different than the last time I had been here. bookshelves now covered every inch of the walls, sketch pads and pages spread across the desk and a piano fixed in the corner. It felt more like a home now than it ever use to.

Ominis rushed past me into the kitchen area retrieving three crystal glasses setting them on the table I had just sat down At and he began pouring us all a drink. I watched as Sebastian faced the fire undoing his wet shirt exposing his freckled olive skin, flames reflecting off his damp muscular frame.

He turned to me meeting my eyes. "See something you like?" He smirked looking me up and down taking steps towards me. My throat swelled and cheeks flushed a bright shade of crimson. I hadn't meant to stare.
