"Karishma take a left turn over here, Right Now!" Haseena said as she looked between Karishma and the window, making sure that they didn't miss the turn.

"Haan, toh left hi jaa rahe hai. Humme aapke ghar ka rasta pata hai." Karishma said raising her one eyebrow and looking at Haseena with a confused look and then going back to focus on the road.

(Yeah, so we are anyways going left. I know the route towards your house.)

"Tum bhi na Haseena, josh josh mein hosh kho deti ho jab bhi Karishma ki baat hoti hai." Haseena mentally face-palmed keeping her eyes closed and her index finger touching her forehead.

(Haseena whenever it's something related to Karishma you lose all your sense completely and act like stupid women.)

"Woh hamara matlab hai ki jahan hum keh rahe wahan lijiye. Abhi hum ghar nahi jaa rahe hai." Haseena said.

(I meant just follow my directions. We are not going home.)

"Haseena ab aapko itni raatko kahan jaana hai. Itna sab hogaya par aap abhi bhi thaki nahi hai ka" Karishma said.

(Haseena where do you want to go so late at night. So much has happened, aren't you tired?)

"Woh sab hum nahi jaante, jitna keh rahe hai utna kijiye. Humme abhi ghar nahi jaana hai." Haseena said showing her childish stubbornness.

(I don't care about all that, just do as I say. I don't want to go home yet.)

"Yeh kya bachpana hai Haseena? Ammi ghar pe itezaar kar rahi hogi." Karishma said with a sweet tone used to pacify a child.

(What childish behavior is this, Haseena? Your mom must be waiting for you.)

"Yahan se right." Haseena said ignoring Karishma.

(Take a right turn from here.)

"Aaj tak aapne hamari baat waise bhi kab suni hai jo aaj sunegi." Karishma mumbled as she was following Haseena's instructions.

(You have never listened to me before, why would you listen to me now.)

"Humne suna aapne jo kaha, aur aapki kabhi bhi nahi chalne wali hamare samne. Iski addat daal lijiye aap" Haseena said while giving a side eye to Karishma with a smirk on her face. Karishma rolled her eyes and shook her head in defeat.

(I heard everything, and I am never going to listen to you henceforth so, become habitual to this.)

Soon they reached their destination. Both of them got out of the car and Karishma was shocked to see the place. She quickly looked at Haseena with a surprised expression. Haseena smiled at her reaction, as she knew what Karishma was thinking.

"Agar aapko hamare favorite cheezon ke baare mein pata hai toh kya humme nahi pata hoga aapki pasand ke baare mein." Haseena said with a proud smirk.

(If you know about my favorite things, wouldn't I know about yours?)

"Yeh jagah ke baare mein humne kissi ko nahi bataya. Agar Amma ko pata chala toh woh yeh jagah bhi hadap lengi. Aap toh jaanti hai ki woh kitni chatori hai" Karishma said will smiling reminiscing her mother's sweet and innocent antics.

(I have kept this place hidden from everyone. If my mom finds out she will take over this place as well. You are aware that what a foodie she is.)

"Haan hum jaante hai ki aapko yahan ka khana kitna pasand hai aur aap yahan kitna aati hai. Kabhi kabhi toh humme aapki sehhat ka khayal aata hai." Haseena said moving towards the small stall that was barely lit by a small white bulb. The smell of spices filling up the air. A mid- 40's aunt busy handling the stove. All her focus was on stirring the vegetables in the wok that was on the stove. Karishma quickly went towards the stall and greeted the aunt with a glee. The aroma was already lifting her mood.
