Vrinda was crying, Arjun took her to the registrar office to get their marriage certificate. Vrinda followed him like a robot. Her mind was blank, not understanding what was running in Arjun 's mind. After signing some papers, they went to their house. Vrinda didn't bother to read the papers as she decided to leave everything to destiny. Throughout the journey, neither of them started any conversation. Vrinda felt deceived by her own family. Arjun wanted to give her time to think about their future. They totally forgot about their grandma who is waiting for them in their house .
After reaching home, Vrinda met her Grandma, who was waiting for them with a maid to welcome with an aarthi to get rid of evil eyes. Vrinda couldn't control her tears after seeing her Grandma, and she broke down in her arms.
Grandma: " Vrinda, my child. I know what your bava did to you. It's me who gave the idea. I gave him blessings also. Don't blame him ma".
Vrinda: " Grandma, how could you do this to me? Why did you betray me?. You know everything from the start and you encouraged him to do this?. Why? Am I not your granddaughter?. Don't you love me?."
Grandma: " I love you more than Arjun and Lakshya. You are very precious to me. I see my daughter in you. I am getting old and want you to get married. But you are not willing to get married. I don't trust anyone other than Arjun with you. I prayed to God that Arjun should come back. As if God heard my pleas , Arjun came back to India. He likes you and will take proper care of you. "
Vrinda: " You could have told me earlier about this marriage."
Grandma: " So that you can run away from here to escape the marriage.
Vrinda: " Grandma.. please "
Grandma: " What Grandma, Vrinda I know my kids. I can read what you are thinking. Why don't you want to get married to Arjun? Don't you like him? "
Vrinda: " It's not like that, Grandma. I'm the unlucky one here. I don't want my bad luck to affect bava."
Grandma: " What nonsense are you talking about, Vrinda? Who sprouted that rubbish to you. I'll bury him alive. You are our lucky charm, our bangaram. Don't keep unnecessary thoughts in your brain and lose your mind. Tell me ,don't you like your bava.?".
Vrinda: " I like him more than my life, Grandma. That's the reason why I never let my shadow fall on him because of my ill - fate. I'm worried about him, Grandma."
Grandma: " Vrinda, first of all, quit telling you are ill fated or unlucky. You are very good at heart. God will favor the good people. So, stop worrying. You have God's blessings, my blessings and your parents' blessings with you. You both will always stay happy because you both like each other."
Vrinda:" Grandma, are you keeping any secrets from me? Please don't keep in the dark. Tell me. "
Grandma: " Yes, Vrinda. Your marriage with Arjun was decided by your parents long back. Arjun and you were betrothed when you were kids. It's your father who asked your hand for Arjun to Surya. Do you think your father would take a hasty decision concerning his daughter ?. No, right. He trusted Arjun with you. Don't cry. It's not good for a newly wedded bride to cry. Your happiness is what Arjun wants. Don't feel sad and make him sad. Live a peaceful life with him. "
Vrinda was shocked to know that her marriage was decided by her father. She trusted her father's decision. There is no doubt in it, and on the other hand, she loved her bava, who became her husband now. She was happy but at the same time was worried about the well-being of her bava. She doesn't want anything to happen to him. She was in a dilemma and was not able to think clearly.
She let destiny decide her fate.
Grandma:" Vrinda, you should promise me that you will never break this marriage. You will stay by his side all your life. "
Vrinda: " Grandma, I will never break this marriage. I'll stay loyal to him and stay by his side till my last breath. You have my word. "
Meanwhile Arjun came inside after attending the call. He happened to hear the promise made by Vrinda to her Grandma. He felt happy knowing Vrinda would never part from him. But he wants Vrinda to spend her life with him with love and willingness but not out of compulsion. So, he wanted to clear the misunderstanding between them. First, he wanted to apologize to Vrinda for not considering her decision in this marriage.
Everyone retired to their rooms after dinner. Grandma was happy that Arjun and Vrinda got married finally. Now she can rest at peace. Vrinda on the other hand, kept thinking of the events that happened in the morning. Like every young girl ,she wanted to cherish the happiest moments of her life when getting married to her love. But Arjun had some other plans. She was dumbstruck when Arjun tied the knot. She doesn't know what is happening around her. But, when she had an open heart conversation with her Grandma, she thought of leaving her worries behind. She wanted to live this moment with her bava and make him happy. She decided to give this marriage a chance. She wanted to meet Arjun and apologize to him for her childish behavior. But she hesitated to go to his room as it was late at night, and everyone in the house was in a deep slumber. So, she thought of speaking to him early in the morning.
But for Arjun, sleep is far away. He was very happy that he got married to Vrinda finally. But , marriage with Vrinda without her willingness is unacceptable to his conscience. It is not letting him stay at peace. He panicked when he saw tears in her eyes when he tied the knot. He knew those were not the tears of happiness but out of shock and helplessness. He was worried that she would hate him . When he overheard the promise of Vrinda to his Grandma, he felt a bit happy, but he wanted Vrinda to accept him heartfully without any compulsion. He doesn't want Vrinda to compromise for anything in life. He will give her whatever she wishes for. Slowly , he started to relish his childhood days, remembering the promise that he made to himself. Arjun was 4 years old then. He came from the school and went to play. Vrinda was sleeping in her crib. Everyone was so busy with their work that they didn't observe Vrinda. She woke up from her nap and was crying profusely for someone to attend her. Arjun happened to come at the same time, and he made her stop crying by making some faces and playing with her little fingers. Vrinda was hardly 5 months old. At one point, Vrinda caught his finger in a tight grip without letting it go. Arjun made a promise to himself that he would never let go of her hand and would take care of her and would protect her. Now, he is fulfilling that promise.
Everyone in the family has adored Vrinda since childhood. She was an apple to their eyes. She was well pampered and was brought up in a protection shell. She was their lucky charm . What he could not understand is why Vrinda labeled herself as a sinner. What situation caused her to think like that?. Or did anyone abuse her like that?. Many questions were running in his mind thinking of the possibilities that Vrinda might have gone through mental trauma or humiliation when she was a kid. So, he made up his mind to dig into the past. He wanted to know what happened to Vrinda in his absence. He knew that his Grandma hardly knew anything. So, he wanted to talk to Govind or hire a detective to know what happened to her. With these thoughts he went to sleep out of tiredness both physically and mentally.
