Chapter- 30.

Author's  Pov:

  By now, Arjun  knew  that something  was bothering  Vrinda.  She was  worried  about  something  but was adamant about solving  it  on her own. Something  was troubling  her deeply, which is affecting  her  mental  and physical  health.  She lost her weight  and thanks to her pregnancy, she was feeling  nauseous and lost her appetite.  Arjun  was  worried  about  her,  so he asked Ravi  if  he found any differences in her performance  at work. But, what Ravi said  made him more anxious.  Vrinda  was  getting  distracted  while  working  and was staying  out of focus.  Ravi thought  she was stressed with some issues  and  has  not assigned her   with any new projects.  Remembering all this, Arjun  asked Vrinda. 

Arjun: 

  " Vrinda,  are you looking at yourself? You lost  your weight   and you are not having  your food properly.  Something  must be  wrong  with  your health.  Let me ask Lakshya  to examine  you. "

Vrinda:

  " That's not required  bava. You are working unnecessarily.  I am perfectly  alright.  I am just stressed  with work. "

Arjun:

  " But, Ravi said that he didn't  assign you any new projects .  He said that you are getting out of focus  at work . Tell me what is bothering  you  Vrinda ".

Vrinda:

  " So, you started spying on my whereabouts.  Can't  you just stay out of my professional  life.  "

Arjun  was shocked with her outburst. She was calm and composed always. So  Arjun  tried to calm her

Arjun:

 " Hey, relax. I never meant to interfere  in your professional  career. I was just worried  that  you got stressed  out  in office work, so I asked Ravi regarding  the  same. 

I know that you don't  like interfering in your  career, and I always respect  your  space. 

Come on,  don't  get agitated. "

Vrinda:
 "  When did you give me my personal  space and respect it?. stop joking bava. When did my opinion matter to  you?. You married  me  without  my consent.  You brought me here without  my willingness.  Now  you started  involving   in my professional  life.  Why are  you dominating me so much? Can't  you let me stay at peace."

Arjun  was astonished  listening  to  her. He was getting  frustrated  with  her behavior  but  he knew he had to be patient  with  her. He can't hurt her. So, he controlled  his anger  and  spoke

Arjun:
  " Vrinda,  what are you speaking?  When did I  dominate  you? I asked for your opinion  in every decision I had made so far. I agree  that I married  you without  informing  you earlier.  But, I justified  my situation, and you agreed to it. You know that I was worried  about  your safety and I can't allow  you  to stay alone in the outhouse.  So, I brought  you  to  our house. But that was the past. Why are you bringing  it now? Why are you creating  it as a big issue? "

Vrinda:
  " Oho!. So, you mean my grief is shouting, and if I question you with my consent, it means I am creating  an  issue right.  So, you think I am giving  you  a headache. You will be at peace  if I don't voice out my opinion.  I should  stay mute and dance to your tunes. You are  treating  me  like a prisoner by monitoring me 24×7."

Arjun  lost his last ounce of patience,  so he 

 raised his voice against  Vrinda.
