Mike and Eleven stare at each other before embracing tightly.

"Is that?" Max starts and the boys nod.

Mike pulls away and places his hands on her shoulders.

"Why didn't you tell me that you were okay?"
He asks her.

"She wasn't allowed." Sage mutters leaning against the wall.

"I wouldn't let her." Hopper lets his gun lean on the legs of the sofa before walking over to El.
"The hell is this? Where you been?"

"Where have you been?" She snaps and they hug.
El turns to Sage who sighs at her.

"Never do that again."
Eleven hugs her tightly and kisses her head.

Mike puts two and two together.

"You've been hiding her.. this whole time?"

He starts hitting at Hopper who drags him off to Will's room.
Dustin and Lucas rush over to hug Eleven.
Max cautiously approaches her too.

"Hey El? I'm Max, I've heard a lot about you."

She puts out her hand and El walks past her completely hugging Joyce.
Sage raises her eyebrows and puts her arm around Max.

"She's random like that, she'll come around."
Max nods disappointedly.

Joyce leads Eleven over to where Will was laying in Jonathan's room. They all crowd her while Sage leans against the door frame with her arms folded.

"He's not doing too great" Joyce whispers as if she talks too loud he'll wake up.
"I know.. I saw."

"What else did you see?" Sage asks with a slight demanding tone.

Eleven shows her to the Close Gate note.

Sage and El stand side by side thinking, Mike and Hopper return and join them at the table with everyone else.

"You opened this gate before right?" Joyce asks calmly.
Eleven nods uncertainty.

"Do you think if we got you back there you could close it?"
Eleven slowly slips her hand into Sage's.

"We can, I'll syphon her. It'll get us stronger."
Hopper joins the girls and everyone else follows behind him.

"It's grown, it's different then last time. That's considering we can get in there, the place is crawling with those dogs."

Sage looks at him closely, he didn't want them to close it and she couldn't figure out why.
"Demo-Dogs!" Dustin corrects him.

"I'm sorry what?"

"Uh- Demo-dogs, like demogorgon and dogs. Sounds pretty badass-"
"How is this important right now?"

"It's not sorry.."

"We can do it." Eleven speaks up.
"You're not hearing me."
"We're hearing you." Sage snaps.

"Even if they can, there's still another problem. If the brain dies, the body dies. If they close the gate and kill the army, it'll kill Will."

Joyce walks into Jonathan's room where Will was laying.

"He likes it cold.." She announces loudly.

"It's what Will kept saying to me, we keep giving it what it wants!" Joyce explains shutting the windows.

"So if he likes it cold.." Nancy starts.
"We need to burn it out of him." Joyce states.

"We'll need to do it somewhere he won't know." Dustin says.
Sage looks at Hopper as she bites her nail.
