TW: GORE AND GRAPHIC DESCRIPTIONS
"Sage!" Everyone yells.
Max, Eleven and Steve drop to their knees, Steve turns her over onto her back as she is screaming and sobbing in pain.
"What is it!" Max yells.
"My leg!" Sage shrieks.
"Her leg.. okay."
Nancy kneels down and gently lifts up her jean leg, the wound was worse than earlier. It was swollen and bleeding, she spots something moving inside it.
"There is something in there!"
Mike exclaims holding onto her good leg.
Max and Steve were gripping her hands while Eleven stroked her head and Dustin rubbed her shoulder. Everyone stood around as she wailed in pain.
"Someone do something!"
Will exclaims holding his stomach.
"Keep her talking, keep her awake okay?" Jonathan says scrambling to his feet.
Sage goes quiet staring into space.
"Hey, Hey. Stay awake okay. Let's get her on her side."
Steve orders, they slowly sit Sage up. She was laying between Steve and Mike.
"You know, it's actually not that bad.. there was a girl on my soccer team Beth Wildfire, another girl slid into her leg and the whole bone came out of her knee it was insane!"
Robin stammers.
"Robin, not helping!" Steve says.
Jonathan runs back over with a knife and spoon in each hand.
"Okay, okay. Right- Say? This is going to hurt like hell okay? I just need you to stay still."
"Okay.." Sage sobs.
"You're gonna wanna bite down on this."
He hands Max the spoon who places it in Sage's mouth.
Eleven gripped hold on Sage's hand attempting to syphon some of the pain- unfortunately that was only Sage's powers.
Jonathan shudders before using the knife to slice open the swollen bump of flesh, Sage screamed in pain while everyone else gasps. He hesitates before shoving his hand inside her leg.
"Jonathan-" Nancy starts.
"Stop talking!" He exclaims.
"Stop it! No!" Sage roars.
Jonathan gladly takes his hand out.
"El can do it. Eleven do it."
Sage orders, she was caked in sweat and blood was running down both her nostrils.
Eleven stands up trembling, she kneels in front of her sisters leg and her hand shakes as she extends it.
Sage continues to scream trying to stay as still as possible as Eleven uses her mind to move the creature, the glass behind the group shatters from both girls as Eleven pulls the piece of monster out of her leg, she throws it as far as she can and flops down beside her sister to hold her.
Everyone turns to the Mall's entrance, Sage also looks up to see Hopper, Joyce and Murray staring back at them, Hopper's walk quickly turns to a run as he drops down next to his daughter.
"You're okay Say-Say. You're okay.."
His voice breaks.
Joyce springs into action raiding the chemist, Hopper sends Lucas and Will go get both girls a drink, Hopper picks up Sage and they meet at the water fountain. Sage lay in between his legs as he cradled her head and she rested her leg on Joyce's lap. Eleven slowly moved next to them and curled up against Hopper's side. He wraps his unused arm around her shoulders, holding his girls close.
