Sage sat close to Steve as they crowded around Eddie, who was massaging his forehead- as if he could remove all the thoughts in his brain.
"We just want to talk, okay?" Dustin says slowly.
"We wanna know what happened." Robins adds.
"You won't believe me." Eddie sniffles.
"Try us." Max says quickly.
"Her body just lifted into the air... and uh, she just hung there and then her-her bones started to snap... her eyes- it was like something inside her head pulling, I- I just ran away. I left her, you probably think I'm crazy... I know how this sounds!" Eddie exclaims.
Sage reaches out to place her hand on her heart, trying to steady her breathing... not everything linked back there- no, it had to... how else would it have happened, how would Eddie make something so familiar to them up in his head.
"Trust us Eddie... we believe you. Look, what we are about to tell you... might be a little difficult to take." Dustin starts.
"A little? Let's not sugarcoat this shit, if he is gonna know the truth- he has to know it's fucking messed up." Sage interrupts.
"Okay..." Eddie says slowly.
Steve wrapped his loose arm around Sage tightly as Dustin explained the upside down to Eddie, Sage's entire body was trembling... Billy was watching her in the corner of the room, he was always watching.
"She was under a curse... Vecna's curse." Dustin mumbles.
"Who's Vecna?" Steve asks.
Dustin turns to Sage, his eyes shooting apologies before he speaks.
"An undead monster of... great power."
"That's just fucking great!" Sage rips herself from Steve's grasp, she storms over to Eddie pointing her finger in his face, fire in her eyes.
"What you are telling me right now Munson, what this all means- is that I nearly lose a leg, Max loses a brother and my father fucking died all for nothing? All for this sick twisted world to come back yet again... if this is a sick joke Munson- if you are playing with me now... I will kill you myself do you hear me!" Sage exclaims.
Eddie slides away from the furious girl as Max wraps her arms around Sage and lets her kick and shriek in her tight hold.
"I can't do this again! I can't!" Sage sobs.

"Delivery service!" Dustin exclaims, they had gone home and as promised- returned back to Eddie with supplies.
"Sage has stood down, she will not threaten you again... hopefully." Dustin adds as Sage holds her hands up in defeat, her eyes glistening with fear and sadness.
"Bad news first, the police are 100% convinced you did it... like there is no changing their minds." Robin starts.
"Hopper would've heard him out." Dustin says with a sigh.
"Unless you want to bring my father back from the dead- we'll need to get over that." Sage says sourly.
"Chief Hopper is your dad? How come I never knew this?" Eddie asks interested.
"Hidden adoption... we'll get to that." Sage says nodding at Dustin to continue.
"All we need to do is find Vecna and kill him to prove your innocence!" Dustin says.
"That all huh?" Eddie teases.
"Listen, Eddie- I know all Dustin is saying sounds pretty delusional but we have been through this before- they have a few times, dust and smoke related and my time was more fleshy monster related- but the point is we got this." Robin exclaims.
